Children in Latvia celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, enjoy the strong atmosphere of this Festival

正所谓,十五的月亮,十六圆。这不中秋节才过去不久,当地时间10月9日下午,汉语教师志愿者刘梦珂领着一班活泼可爱的拉脱维亚小朋友们也举办了一个欢乐祥和的中秋庆祝仪式。
中秋节自古便有祭月、赏月、拜月、吃月饼、饮桂花酒等习俗,流传至今,经久不息。但拉脱维亚没有中秋节,中秋节对于这儿的孩子们来说,和一年其他364天没有什么差别。于是,活动一开始,中国老师先从一个个生动有趣中秋的神话故事入手,激发了孩子们对中国传统节日中秋节的兴趣。接着,介绍中秋节的传统习俗,赏月,拜月,吃月饼,赏花灯。在品尝了中秋节美味的月饼之后,小朋友们还一起齐动手制作中秋节兔子灯笼,在聆听、交流与体验中享受中秋节的乐趣。
活动结束,蒙特梭利的负责人说,这次中秋节活动让孩子们充分感受到了中国的传统文化,即学习到了汉语知识,又让学习汉语成为一件十分有趣的事情。希望以后能多开展此类中国文化课活动。

After finish this celebration, the principal of Montessori Elementary School said that this activity let the children tasted the traditional Chinese culture, the children can not only learn the Chinese, but can also find that it is an interesting thing to learn Chinese. She also hoped that we can carry out more Chinese culture activities like this.
