The 2018 “Confucius Institute Day”and the Mid-Autumn Festival and the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Latvia Gala Show was held at the University of Latvia
当地时间9月29日下午2时，2018年“孔子学院日”暨中秋节和拉脱维亚独立100周年庆典在拉脱维亚大学大礼堂举行。来自中国大使馆、拉脱维亚议会、拉脱维亚外交部、中国文化中心、新华社、中国人民大学、拉脱维亚大学、拉脱维亚大学孔子学院、拉脱维亚大学人文学院、道加瓦皮尔斯大学、雷泽克内大学、交通与电信大学、拉脱维亚农业大学、拉脱维亚文化学院、文茨皮尔斯大学、利耶帕亚大学、里加理工大学、维泽梅大学、里加文化中学、里加34中学、叶尔加瓦斯比杜拉中学、克拉斯拉瓦中学、叶卡布皮尔斯中学、斯米尔提恩中学、蒙特梭利小学、新马露白小学、拉脱维亚武术协会、以及拉脱维亚留华同学会、飞笔中国画工作室、拉脱维亚华侨华人联合会、华为拉脱维亚公司、通宇通讯拉脱维亚公司、华大基因拉脱维亚公司等嘉宾以及中国留学生代表350余人参加了本次活动。
首先孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授及拉方院长贝德高教授向到场的各位嘉宾表示热烈欢迎，并分别用汉语和拉脱维亚语致辞。两位院长表示拉脱维亚大学孔子学院以及拉脱维亚汉语教学的发展壮大离不开上述单位以及在座各位的大力支持和关心。殷切希望在各方的共同努力下，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院越办越好，取得更大的成就。
接着，中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆代办孙应来先生，拉脱维亚大学校长穆伊日涅克斯教授分别致辞，表示了对孔院日的祝贺和中秋佳节的祝福。孙应来代办强调，和而不同，民心相通，希望随着中拉两国合作的发展深入，两国年轻人能够相互学习，以个人外交促进民族外交。穆伊日涅克斯校长在致辞中充分肯定了孔子学院的工作，他表示拉脱维亚大学作为第一个开设孔子学院的大学，将作好一切工作，为其他教学点起模范带头作用。并勉励孔院全体教职工再接再厉，成为拉脱维亚大学独具特色的学院。
随着致辞的落幕，一场饱含着中拉两国风情的文艺晚会拉开了帷幕。拳法行云流水，太极柔中带刚，拉脱维亚武术协会的表演，气场强大，震撼全场；雷泽克内大学以及维泽梅大学的老师和学生们分别演唱《但愿人长久》、《几分之几》，婉转悠扬，余音绕梁；克拉斯瓦中学的学生带来一首《猜拳歌》，别具一格；来自留华同学会的安娜和丽莎身怀绝技，杯子歌《我做得到》博得众彩；里加文化中学的同学们与月共舞，寄托着他们对中秋节的美好情思；甜蜜蜜，要等秋天数小鸡，It’s a small small world，Love and care for all，我的歌，我的民歌，我还在等，拉脱维亚歌曲大合唱……一首首歌曲韵味十足，一次次合唱洋洋盈耳。精美绝伦的中国传统服装展示，形神兼备的民族舞蹈，活泼欢快的悦耳歌声，是汉语教师志愿者的节日献礼；月下朗诵的佳人，笔墨挥洒的才女，温文尔雅的茶艺，是中国老师的动人演绎；玉液琼浆，翰墨飘香，诗词歌赋，是汉语学习者的文化传承。此外，现场还举行了问答环节，观众互动，气氛热闹，
本次晚会在中国美食的品评中圆满结束。晚会不仅仅是一场演出，它更是中拉友谊的见证，祝福两国的明天会更好。
Local time at 14:00 on 29th September in Latvia, the “Confucius Institute Day” and the Mid-Autumn Festival and the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Latvia Gala Show was held in the Grand Auditorium of the University of Latvia in 2018.From the Chinese Embassy,the Parliament of Latvia,the Foreign Ministry of Latvia, China Culture Center in Latvia, Xinhua News Agency, Renmin University of China，the University of Latvia,the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia,Faculty of Humanities LU, Confucius Class at Daugavpils University , Rezekne Academy of Technologies , Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Latvia University of Life Science and Technology, Latvia Academy of Culture, Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, Liepaja University, Riga Technical University, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Riga Culture Secondary School, Riga No. 34 Secondary School,Jelgava Spidola State Gymnasium, Kraslava State Gymnasium, Jekabpils State Gymnasium, Smiltene Centre Secondary School, Montessori Elementary School, Jaunmarupe Primary School,Latvia Sports Wushu Federation,China Alumni Association of Latvia,Flying Brush Studio,Oversea Chinese Association of Latvia, Huawei Technologies Latvia Subsidiary, SIA Tongyu Communication, Latvia MGI Tech,more than 350 people including guests of Chinese students attended the event.
First of all, Chinese-side Director of LUCI,Prof.Shang Quanyu and the Lativian-side Director of LUCI,Prof.Pēteris Pildegovičs,firstly expressed a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and gave speeches in Chinese and Latvian respectively.Two directors both mentioned the Confucius Institute of the University of Latvia and the development of Chinese teaching in Latvia are inseparable from the above-mentioned units,the strong support and concern of all of you here.We sincerely hope that with the joint efforts of all units,the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia will be better and better,and get even greater achievements.
Then,Mr.Sun Yinglai,the Charge d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia,and Mr. Muižnieks,the Rector of the University of Latvia,delivered speeches respectively.They expressed the best wishes to the Confucius Institute Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.Sun Yinglai,the Charge d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia,emphasized that the differences are in consistency,people’s hearts are connected.I hope that with the development of cooperation between China and Latvia,young people from both countries can learn from each other and promote national diplomacy through personal diplomacy. Rector Muižnieks fully affirmed the work of the Confucius Institute in his speech, He said that the University of Latvia, as the first university to open the Confucius Institute, will do the best and play a leading role.And encouraged the faculty and staff of the Confucius Institute to make persistent efforts,to become a unique academy of the University of Latvia.
With the end of the speech, a gala show filled with Chinese and Latvian styles opened. Kungfu is doing like drifting cloud and flowing water,Taiji is hard inside soft action.The martial arts performance brought by the Latvia Sports Wushu Federation had a very strong atmosphere and shocked the audience;The teachers and students of Rezekne Academy of Technologies and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences sang”Dan yuan ren chang jiu” and “Ji fen zhi ji”,the songs were melodious,and the reverberations have been still being around;Students from Kraslava State Gymnasium brought a “Finger-guessing Game” Song, which was unique;Anna and Lisa from the China Alumni Association of Latvia were special with high skill, and the cup song “I Can Do It” won the applaud;The students from Riga Culture Secondary School danced with the moon and placed their love for the Mid-Autumn Festival.Sweet Honey,To Wait For the Autumn to Count Chicks,It’s A Small Small World,Love and Care For All,My Song,My Folk Song,I’m still waiting,Songs of Latvia Chorus……The songs were full of charm, and chorus was extremely harmonious.Exquisite Chinese traditional costumes,ethnic dances with both forms and spirits,lively and cheerful singing,were holiday gifts from Chinese voluntary teachers;The beautiful lady who recited in the moon,the talented woman who was composing with ink,the gentle and elegant tea art,were the moving performances of the Chinese teachers; the great wine,the fragrance of ink and the poetry song,were the cultural heritages in learners who are studying Chinese.In addition,a Q&A session was held on the spot,the audience interacted and the atmosphere was active.
This gala show successfully ended with the evaluation of Chinese cuisine.The party was not just a performance,it was a testimony to the friendship between China and Latvia.May the two countries be better in the future.
