Chinese Culture Experience: Paper-cut——at Confucius Class of Rezekne Academy of Technology

拉脱维亚当地时间2018年10月23-30日，雷泽克内大学孔子课堂各汉语水平班级，在各自班级中体验了中国传统文化：剪纸。

为了让学生更好得了解剪纸艺术，以及十二生肖文化，中国汉语教师志愿者带领学生们共同完成了十二生肖剪纸。

学生们在制作的过程中，首先将剪纸图案仔细地描绘到红纸上，接着利用小刀耐心地雕刻出一幅幅精美绝伦的剪纸作品。最后学生们共制作了12张剪纸作品，分别代表十二生肖。本次活动不仅提高了学生的手工能力，也对中国剪纸文化和十二生肖有了更多了解。

Latvia local time on October 23-30, 2018, in the Confucius Class of Rezekne Academy of Technology, each level of Chinese language class experienced Chinese traditional culture: paper-cut in their classes.

In order to let students better understand the art of paper-cut and the Chinese zodiac, Chinese Chinese volunteer teacher led the students to complete the zodiac paper-cuts.

In the process of production, the students first carefully painted the paper-cut pattern on the red paper, and then patiently carved a beautiful paper-cut work with a knife. Finally, the students produced a total of 12 paper-cut works, representing the zodiac. This event not only improved the students’ manual ability, but also learned more about Chinese paper-cut culture and the Chinese zodiac.
