Children in Latvian Montessori Elementary School celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival

当地时间9月27日，蒙特梭利探索小学汉语班举行了一次中秋节文化活动。

汉语教师志愿者王昕给学生们播放了有关中秋节的动画片，大家都看得十分认真。随后，教师结合图片和视频向学生们展示了中秋节的日期、传说和习俗等，并教学生们认读“月亮”、“月饼”、“兔子”等中秋节的“关键词”，带领大家一起学说“中秋节快乐！”

最后，教师向学生们介绍了不同种类不同口味的中秋月饼，并请学生们一起品尝月饼。

这次中秋节活动让孩子们充分感受到了中国的传统文化，既学习到了汉语知识，又让学习汉语成为一件十分有趣的事情。

On September 27th, local time, the students of the Montessori Elementary School celebrated the Mid – Autumn Festival.

Chinese teacher Wang Xin played a cartoon about the Mid-Autumn Festival to students, everyone was focus on it. Later, the teacher showed the dates, legends and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival by pictures and videos. Besides that, the teacher taught students to read the keywords of the Mid-Autumn Festival such as “Moon”, “Moon cake” and “Rabbit”, and let everyone to learn how to say “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!”

Finally, the teachers invited the students to taste the special snacks of the Mid-Autumn Festival – moon cakes, and introduce different types of moon cakes to the students.

This activity let the children tasted the traditional Chinese food, the children can not only learn the Chinese, but can also find that it is an interesting thing to learn Chinese.
