Chinese Culture Experience：Hanfu Origami — Riga 34 Secondary School Confucius Classroom

拉脱维亚当地时间2018年10月15日，里加34中学孔子课堂六年级汉语选修课学生在汉语教师志愿者梁娟的带领下体验汉服之美，并亲手制作折纸汉服。

活动之初，教师为学生播放了汉服锦集视频，学生在婉转的古风音乐中对中国历朝历代民族服饰有了直观大体的认识。随后教师向学生展示介绍了中国古代常见的男女服饰，如“袄裙”“深衣”等，并介绍了中国服饰的常用图纹：龙凤鹤、梅兰竹菊，并让学生从中选出最喜欢的款式和纹样运用在自己制作的汉服中。在教师的分步讲解和逐一指导下，学生依次制作出上衣、裙子、领子、袖子。组装之后，精美小巧，衣袂飘飘的袄裙就做好了。学生成就感满满的举起自己的汉服，用语言课学过“衣物”“颜色”等内容进行介绍“我的汉服，上衣是红色的…”可谓学以致用。

这次汉服折纸活动不仅锻炼了学生的动手能力，操练了学生的语言表达能力，更让学生感受了中国服饰的灿烂魅力，了解了中国人雅致的审美趣味，增强对多元文化的共情能力。

On October 15, 2018, Riga 34 Secondary School Confucius Classroom sixth-grade Chinese electives students experienced the beauty of Hanfu–the traditional Chinese clothing of Han nationality.

At the beginning of the activity, the teacher played the video of Hanfu for the students. Then the teacher showed the students the common men’s and women’s clothing in ancient China, such as “ǎoqún” and “shēnyī”, and introduced the common patterns of Chinese clothing: dragon, phoenix and crane, plum, orchid and bamboo. Under the teacher’s step-by-step explanation and one by one guidance, the students made tops, skirts, collars, and sleeves in turn. After the assembly, a delicate Hanfu was finished. The students have a sense of accomplishment and raised their own Hanfu to introduced it in Chinese.

This Hanfu origami activity not only exercised the students’ hands-on ability, but also honed the students’ language expression ability. It also made students feel the splendid charm of Chinese costumes, understand the elegant aesthetic taste of Chinese people, and enhance their empathy for multiculturalism.
