2018-2019 Work Summary Meeting and Graduation Ceremony at Kraslava State Gymnasium

出席此次学年工作总结会议的有克拉斯拉瓦中学校长Jānis Tukāns，克拉斯拉瓦中学两位副校长Anna Liece，Ilga Stikute，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院外方院长贝德高教授，拉脱维亚孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授，克拉斯拉瓦中学三位老师，以及汉语教师志愿者林颖娴。首先，副校长Anna Liece对两位院长的到来表示了衷心的感谢，对汉语教师志愿者林颖娴一年来的工作表示了肯定与感谢，并表示克拉斯拉瓦中学对汉语教学事业的重视。随后，外方院长贝德高教授和中方院长尚劝余教授总结了2018-2019学年的汉语教学情况，对这一年来取得的成果进行了肯定与表扬，并向克拉斯拉瓦中学的领导介绍里加34中学、里加文化中学等的汉语课开设模式。最后，双方讨论了下一学年汉语课的开设模式，希望举办“汉语日”等活动吸引更多的汉语学习者，并对今后工作的开展进行了规划。

下午两点，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院克拉斯拉瓦中学教学点在汉语教室成功举行了2018-2019学年结业典礼。出席此次结业典礼的有克拉斯拉瓦中学两位副校长Anna Liece，Ilga Stikute，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院外方院长贝德高教授，拉脱维亚孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授，克拉斯拉瓦中学英语老师Anita Mateja，汉语教师志愿者林颖娴，以及克拉斯拉瓦中学汉语学习者等。

本次典礼由汉语教师志愿者林颖娴主持。首先由副校长Ilga Stikute致辞，对两位院长的到来表示热烈的欢迎，对汉语教师志愿者林颖娴一年来在克拉斯拉瓦中学的辛勤工作表示感谢，并对自己退出汉语学习表示了遗憾，希望学生们以此为鉴，永葆对学习汉语的热情。中外方院长随后发表讲话，总结了2018-2019学年克拉斯拉瓦中学的汉语教学工作，介绍了孔子学院的汉语项目，鼓励学生积极申请孔子学院奖学金，到中国的大学进行深造，并鼓励学生们在下一学年继续积极参加孔子学院夏令营等活动。随后，三位领导为学生们颁发结业证书，表彰学生们以优异的成绩完成了本学年的汉语学习，并与学生一一合影留念。最后，全部学生一起合唱汉语歌曲《亲爱的小孩》，学生代表叶娃在唯美的音乐中朗诵了诗歌《再别康桥》。

此次结业典礼在一片欢声笑语中拉下了帷幕。结业典礼虽是终点，但又是新的起点。希望汉语学习者们扬帆起航，再接再厉，永葆对汉语学习的热情！希望克拉斯拉瓦中学下一年取得更加辉煌的成绩！

Local time 10:30 am, on May 23 2019, the foreign dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and the Chinese dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Shang Quanyu, arrived at Kraslava State Gymnasium. Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu attended 2018-2019 work summary meeting and graduation ceremony of Chinese course at Kraslava State Gymnasium.

At the work summary meeting, there were the principal of Kraslava State Gymnasium Jānis Tukāns, the two vice principals of Kraslava State Gymnasium, Anna Liece, Ilga Stikute, the foreign dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs, and the Chinese dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Shang Quanyu, three teachers of Kraslava State Gymnasium, and Lin Yingxian, the volunteer of Chinese teacher. First of all, Vice principal Anna Liece expressed gratitude to the two deans for their arrival. She expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the Chinese teacher Lin Yingxian for her hardworking and fruitful achievement in the past year, and expressed that Kraslava State Gymnasium attaches great importance to the Chinese teaching career. Later, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu summarized the Chinese teaching in 2018-2019 academic year, affirmed and praised the achievements made in the past year. Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu introduced the Chinese language mode of Riga 34 Middle School and Riga Culture Middle School. At last, the two sides discussed the mode of the Chinese language class in the next academic year, and hoped to hold activities such as “Chinese Day” to attract more Chinese learners and plan for the future work.

At two o’clock in the afternoon, Kraslava State Gymnasium successfully held the 2018-2019 graduation ceremony of Chinese course in the Chinese classroom. At the graduation ceremony, there were the two vice principal of Kraslava State Gymnasium, Anna Liece , Ilga Stikute, the foreign dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs, and the Chinese dean of Confucius Institute at Latvia University, Professor Shang Quanyu, the English teacher Anita Mateja, and Lin Yingxian, the volunteer of Chinese teacher, and Chinese learners at Kraslava State Gymnasium .

The graduation ceremony was hosted by Chinese teacher Lin Yingxian. First of all, the vice principal of Kraslava State Gymnasium Ilga Stikute expressed a warm welcome to Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu. She expressed her gratitude to the Chinese teacher Lin Yingxian for her hard work in Kraslava State Gymnasium and expressed her regret for her withdrawal from Chinese studies. She hope that students will learn from this and always be passionate about learning Chinese. Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu made a speech summarized the Chinese teaching work at Kraslava State Gymnasium in the 2018-2019 academic year, introduced the Confucius Institute Chinese program, encouraged students to actively apply for Confucius Institute scholarships, and going to Chinese universities for further study, and encouraged students continue to actively participate in activities such as the Confucius Institute Summer Camp in the future. Later, the three leaders issued certificates of Chinese class for the students, in recognition of the students’ excellent Chinese language learning in this year, and took photos with the students.At last , all the students sang the Chinese song “Dear Kids” together, and the student representative Ieva Ivonna Skerskane recited the poem “Farewell to Cambridge” with the beautiful music.

The graduation ceremony was held with joy. Although the graduation ceremony is the end, it is also a new starting. I hope that Chinese learners will make persistent efforts for Chinese learning! I hope that Kraslava State Gymnasium will get more brilliant results next year!
