Confucius Institute at University of Latvia Attends Foreign Language Teaching Symposium in Ogre
当地时间2020年1月16日下午3时,奥格雷自治市外语教学研讨会在奥格雷市国立中学成功举办,来自教育局、中小学、企事业单位等社会各界人士参与了本次研讨会。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授、拉方院长贝德高教授、汉语教师志愿者邹亚平老师、燕雪宁老师、车俊池老师出席了本次研讨会。
研讨会上,各界人士代表依次分享关于外语教学的看法以及展望,内容丰富,观点独特,涉及世界各国综合实力的变化对外语教学的影响、教师与学生对目前开设的外语课程中部分外语去留的不同看法、留学趋势与外语教学的关系、学生未来职业规划与外语教学的关系以及电子设备和远程教育在外语教学中的优势等诸多方面。会议上也多次提到中国和汉语在世界上的影响力越来越大。
其中,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院中拉方院长尚劝余教授和贝德高教授介绍了世界汉语教学和拉脱维亚汉语教学的现状,他们指出:“随着世界多元化趋势和经济文化交流的加强,我们希望拉脱维亚的外语教学课程能更加多元化,也希望在奥格雷市开设与目前拉脱维亚外语课程与众不同的中文课程。”在提问环节,一位学生询问了离奥格雷市最近的汉语教学点,两位院长对此做出了耐心详尽的解答。
At 15:00 on January 16th, 2020 local time, the Foreign Language Teaching Symposium in Ogre was successfully held at the Ogre Valsts Gymnasium. Guests from Education Bureau, primary and secondary schools, enterprises and institutions, etc. participated in the symposium. Prof. Shang Quanyu and Prof. Pildegovics, directors of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Ms. Zou Yaping, Ms. Yan Xuening, Mr. Che Junchi, Chinese volunteer teachers of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia attended the symposium.
representatives from all walks of life shared their rich-content and unique views and prospects on foreign language teaching in turn. It involves the impact of changes in the comprehensive strength of countries around the world on foreign language teaching, different perspectives between teachers and students about the current foreign language course, the relationship between the trend of studying abroad and foreign language teaching, the relationship between students’ future career planning and foreign language teaching, and the advantages of electronic equipment and distance teaching in foreign language teaching, etc. They also mentioned many times that China and Chinese have an increasing influence in the world.
Among them, Prof. Shang Quanyu and Prof. Pildegovics, directors of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, introduced the current status of Chinese teaching in the world and in Latvia. They pointed out: “With the trend of world diversification and the strengthening of economic and cultural exchanges, we hope that Latvia’s foreign language teaching courses will be more diversified, and we hope to launch a Chinese language course in Ogre that is different from the current Latvian foreign language courses. During the questioning period, a student asked about the nearest Chinese language teaching site to Ogre, and the two directors gave patient and detailed answers.
