The offline course for HSK6 at the Confucius Institute of the University of Latvia officially started

On 21 November 2022, Riga time, the offline course for HSK6 at the Confucius Institute of the University of Latvia officially started. This was the first time in two years that the Chinese language classes were conducted in an offline mode, and the Chinese language teacher was volunteer Shen Sishun.

Before the teacher arrived in Riga, the HSK Level 6 class had always been conducted in the form of an online class, and the teacher and students already knew each other and were familiar with each other. However, the students were very happy and excited to have their first offline class. Before the lesson, the teacher first introduced the main topic of the lesson, “White Noise”, and selected an audio clip prepared in advance so that the students could visualize the effects of “White Noise”. Afterwards, the teacher asks a few questions to engage the students in a discussion in which they review the expressions they have learned in the previous lessons. Afterwards, the teacher began to teach the vocabulary, using a very visual approach to enable the students to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of the Chinese words. At the end of the lesson, the teacher also prepared a small gift for each student, which the students were very excited about. The course went very well.

At present, the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia has officially started the Chinese language course.

当地时间2022年11月21日，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院HSK6级的线下课程正式开课了。这是两年以来第一次以线下模式开展的汉语课，汉语老师为志愿者沈思顺。

在老师抵达里加之前，HSK六级班一直都以线上课的形式进行，老师和同学们已经互相了解和熟悉了。但第一次以线下课的形式授课，同学们还是非常的高兴与期待的。上课之前，老师首先介绍了这节课的主要内容“白噪音”，同时选取了一段提前准备好的音频，让同学们能够更加直观地感受到“白噪音”的作用。之后，老师提出了几个问题，让学生们参与讨论，并在讨论的过程中，复习再之前的课程中所学习的表达句式。之后，老师开始讲授生词，用十分直观的方法让学生能够更加深入的理解汉语词语的意思。最后，老师也为每位同学准备了小礼物，同学们都十分兴奋和激动。课程进展十分顺利。

目前，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院的汉语课程已正式开始授课。
