Confucius Institute at University of Latvia Successfully Held the Third Chinese Proficiency Test in 2023 Successfully
On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Beijing time, the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) organized by Confucius Institute at University of Latvia came to a successful conclusion. This Chinese proficiency test was conducted offline, covering five levels of HSK Level 1 to Level 4 and HSKK Elementary, with a total of five sessions, attracting the active participation of students who love Chinese.
Mr. Shang Quanyu, the Chinese director of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, carefully organized the work related to the exam and cooperated closely with the relevant staff. The chief examiner, Ms. Bai Bingyu, made a detailed examination work plan before the examination, and Ms. Anastasija Galkina, secretary of the Confucius Institute and interpreter for the examination, delivered the examination notice in time. After careful preparation, the exam went smoothly.
Before the test, the test staff arrived at the test room in advance, carefully arranged the test room environment, and checked the test room equipment to ensure that each candidate can take the test in the best condition. They carefully checked the list of candidates, and organized the candidates to enter the venue in an orderly manner.
During the examination period, the invigilators managed carefully and cooperated tacitly to maintain the fairness and impartiality of the examination. Candidates participated actively and kept writing, and the entire examination room was in order. The invigilators patiently answer the candidates’ questions and provide necessary guidance to ensure that each candidate can perform at their best.
After the exam, the invigilators quickly collected, organized and counted the exam materials. Some students shared their feelings about the test with their teachers after the test. They said with confidence that they could pass the HSK and they were full of confidence in their Chinese ability.
