The representative team of the Confucius Institute at the University of Lhasa participated in the fun sports meeting for the faculty and staff

On June 9, 2023, Latvian time, the Latvia University hold the annual faculty and staff fun sports meeting in Ratnieki. A total of about 500 people, including faculty, staff and their relatives and friends, participated in this fun sports meeting. There will be street basketball,  volleyball, table tennis, croquet, sandbag throwing, sailing, frisbee golf, “Star Wars”, “Ice Cool (board game)”, “Bubble Football”, “Karasen (board game)”, etc. More than ten projects are both diverse and interesting.

At the beginning of the sports meeting, everyone carried out warm-up training together. Hundreds of people in the audience warmed up together to the dynamic music, and the atmosphere was strong and enthusiastic. Immediately, the various competitions began in an orderly manner, and the athletes of the Confucius Institute also actively participated. Among them, Wang Beya, a teacher from Riga 34 Middle School, won the second place in the table tennis competition, setting the highest record in the history of the Confucius Institute.

After the sports meeting, the event party held a grand awards ceremony and provided delicious and rich dinner and desserts. They also invited band members to play for everyone. After the meal, they provided sauna and log cabin living experience services. This event not only played a role in strengthening the body, but also enhanced the communication and exchanges between the faculty and staff of the University of Latvia, and improved the awareness of teamwork and cohesion. I believe that in the future, everyone will pay more attention to the life concept of sports and health, and devote themselves to various tasks with a healthy body and a full mental state.

拉脱维亚时间2023年6月9日，拉脱维亚大学在度假胜地利加特内举办了一年一度的教职工趣味运动会。全校教职工及其亲友共计五百人左右参与了这次趣味运动会。此次运动会有街头篮球、沙滩排球、乒乓球、槌球、丢沙包、帆船、飞盘高尔夫、“星球大战”“冰酷（桌游）”“泡泡足球”“卡拉森（桌游）”等十余个项目，兼具多样性与趣味性。

运动会伊始，大家共同进行了热身训练，全场数百人在动感的音乐中共同热身，氛围浓厚热烈。随即各项比赛有序开始，拉大孔子学院的运动员们也积极踊跃地参与。其中里加34中学汪贝娅老师在乒乓球比赛中取得了全场第二的优异成绩，创造孔院历史单项最高记录。

运动会结束后，活动方举行了盛大的颁奖典礼并提供了美味丰盛的晚餐和甜点，还邀请了乐队成员为大家演奏，用餐结束后更是提供桑拿和木屋居住体验服务。本次活动不仅起到了强身健体的作用，更增强了教职工之间的沟通与交流，提高了团队合作意识和凝聚力。相信今后大家将更加注重运动健康的生活理念，以健康的体魄和饱满的精神状态投入到各项工作中。
