Ambassador Tang Songgen Visited the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies

On the afternoon of August 1, 2023 local time, Tang Songgen, the Chinese ambassador to Latvia, visited Rezekne Academy of Technologies to learn about Chinese teaching in Confucius classrooms and discuss future cooperation and exchanges.

The event was attended by Mr. Tang Songgen, Chinese Ambassador to Latvia, Pro. Iveta Mietule, Rector of Rezekne Academy of Technologies, Mrs. Aija Vonoga, Head of the Confucius Classroom of Rezekne Academy of Technologies, Mrs. Margarita Isajevaband students of the Confucius Classroom of Rezekne Academy of Technologies.

Pro. Iveta Mietule, Rector of Rezekne Academy of Technologies, warmly welcomed the visit of Ambassador Tang Songgen. She briefly introduced the development process and future planning of Rezekne Academy of Technologies. At the same time, she tells about the establishment and development of the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies, and places high hopes on the future development of the Confucius Classroom. The students in the Confucius Classroom actively interact with the ambassador, expressing a strong interest in learning Chinese and a love for Chinese culture.

The event was a great success. Ambassador Tang Songgen said that he would continue to support the development of the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies, actively spread Chinese culture, and jointly promote win-win cooperation between the two sides.

雷泽克内大学校长伊薇塔·米叶图莱女士对大使唐松根先生的访问表示热烈欢迎，她简单介绍了雷泽克内大学的发展历程与未来规划。同时，讲述了雷泽克内大学孔子课堂的成立与发展，并对孔子课堂的未来发展寄予厚望。孔子课堂的学生们积极与大使互动，表达出对汉语学习浓烈兴趣以及对中国文化的热爱。

本次活动圆满成功，唐松根大使表示，会继续支持雷泽克内大学孔子课堂的发展，积极传播中国文化，共促双方合作共赢。
