2023 Confucius Institute Teaching Seminar at the University of Latvia Successfully Conducted 2023年拉脱维亚大学孔子学院教学研讨会顺利开展

[Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia Correspondent Hu Shirong Photo Guo Mengran] At 20:00 pm Latvian time on October 11, 2023, the Chinese President of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, Mr. He Dong, the Chinese teachers of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia and the assistant to the director, Mrs. Bai Bingyu and Mr. Xu Shen, and the 17 volunteer Chinese language teachers from each teaching site met on the line to carry out the Chinese language teaching seminar of the new semester of 2023 together. This meeting is the first all teaching seminar held after the epidemic, aiming to provide an academic exchange platform for Confucius Institute teachers to discuss the theory and practice of Chinese language teaching, in order to promote the development and research of international Chinese language teaching.

The main flow of the teaching seminar was divided into three stages: the first stage consisted of a 5-10 minute speech by each teacher, stating his/her teaching experience, difficulties and solutions in teaching and management, as well as questions he/she wished to be answered through the seminar; the second stage was a discussion on the questions raised by everyone, and everyone actively put forward his/her own thoughts and opinions; in the third stage, a discussion was held on the topic of how to effectively utilize office software or platforms to efficiently In the third stage, the topic of how to effectively use office software or platforms to carry out work efficiently was discussed, and Mr. Guo Mengran first introduced the functions and usage of several APPs for decision-making reference. In the final summary session, Dr. He Dong affirmed and appreciated the wonderful speeches and presentations, and hoped that the teachers would take this seminar as an opportunity to strengthen communication, enhance interaction, and continuously improve their teaching level and educational ability.

The meeting was well organized, with a strong academic atmosphere and enthusiastic discussions and exchanges. Through three hours of full exchange of teaching experience and discussion, teachers’ rational understanding of Chinese language teaching and management was improved, which provided new ideas for the design and implementation of Chinese language education, curriculum and teaching in the future, and was conducive to promoting the development of Chinese language teaching in Latvia.

【拉脱维亚大学孔子学院讯 通讯员 胡诗蓉 摄影 郭萌苒】拉脱维亚时间2023年10月11日晚20点，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院中方院长何东，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院公派教师及院长助理白冰玉、徐申及各个教学点的17位汉语教师相聚线上，共同开展2023年新学期汉语教学研讨会。本次会议是疫情后首次举办的全体教学研讨会，旨在为孔院教师提供学术交流平台，探讨汉语教学的理论与实践，以推动国际汉语教学的发展与研究。

教学研讨会的主要流程分为三个阶段：第一阶段由每位教师进行5-10分钟的发言，陈述教学心得、教学和管理等方面的困难与解决，以及希望通过研讨来解答的问题；第二阶段就大家所提的问题进行了研讨，大家积极提出自己的思考和意见；第三阶段，就如何有效利用办公软件或平台，高效地开展工作为主题进行讨论，郭萌冉老师首先介绍了几种APP的功能与用法，供决策参考。最后的总结环节，何东博士对大家的精彩发言和展示表示肯定与赞赏，希望老师们以本次研讨为契机，加强沟通、增进互动，不断提高教学水平和教育能力。

本次会议组织有序，学术氛围浓厚，探讨交流热烈。通过三小时充分的教学经验交流与研讨，提高了教师们对汉语教学与管理的理性认识，为今后的汉语教育、课程与教学的设计与实 施提供了新思路，有利于促进拉脱维亚汉语教学的发展。
