2016 Spring Festival Paper-cut Exhibition was held in the main hall of Latvia University
Spreading traditional culture and conveying cordiality, a series of paper-cutting works, represent Latvian Chinese teacher, Karina’s love for Chinese culture. On 8th February, 2016 Spring Festival Paper-cut Exhibition was held in the main hall of Latvia University, and all of the works are from Karina Jermaka.
Karina Jermaka, who were enthusiastic about Chinese traditional culture from her early age, attained scholarship from China and studied in East China Normal University in 2012. When she returned to Riga, not only has she learnt Chinese knowledge, but also she brought back Chinese paper-cutting culture and spread it.
At the exhibition, dozen works were showed along side the University of Latvia’s main hall, all of the works’ name were based on the theme of Spring Festival, expressing the best wishes for spectators, which brought the fresh and lively atmosphere for academic environment at Latvia University. Walking along the show, people can’t help marveling at her enthusiasm towards Chinese traditional art and her excellent paper-cutting skills.
The exhibition will last till 14th February, and we all believe that the enterprise of Chinese education will develop better and better.
