The lecture “My story:China and me” held in Confucius Institute at University of Latvia
Latvia local Time on 16:30, 20th. February, 2016 ” My story:China and me ” lecture was successfully held in the main building of University of Latvia.
Li Tao, Counsellor from Chinese Embassy, Zeng Fuhua, Consul from Chinese Embassy, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs, Latvian Director of Confucius Institute, Professor Shang Quanyu, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, Mr. LEON, the representative of Latvia, as well as teachers and students, who come from Chinese programme of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, attended the lecture.
The Lecturer Anzelika, she has learned Chinese culture more than ten years. From curious to love, to fit in, she considers Chinese as a part of her life. The lecture began with the famous Chinese contest – Chinese Bridge, which became an important turning point in her life, also mean an opened door to a new world. In the beginning, Anzelika introduced the details of her participation in the process of Chinese Bridge. Then she gave some tips of the context and encouraged the students to participate in this interesting and challenging context. To preparing the Chinese Bridge Context, students gave a lot of questions which were patiently answered by Anzelika. After that Anzelika shared her experience in China and played small videos which she participated in 2015 Spring Festival Evening of Tianjin TV. Finally, the lecture ended with a beautiful Chinese song performanced by Anzelika.
This lecture provided lots of precious experience for the Chinese learners in Latvia, enhanced the cultural communication between China and Latvia, just likes an “appetizer” for the fifth anniversary of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia and the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Latvia.
