Chinese painting: the art of water and ink–Drawing panda experience activities in Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University

In November 22, 2016, Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University held a wonderful cultural experience activities. This activity aimed at introducing traditional Chinese painting. Students from different ages and levels participated in this activity. They not only appreciate the exquisite works of art, but also learn the four treasures of calligraphy and painting: Brush, Chinese ink, Paper, and Ink stone. At the same time, the course stress on their favorite animals-panda, introduce the basic methods of painting pandas and encourage students to try to do it themselves .All of the students are deeply impressed by this magic art of water and ink and immersed in their own artistic creations.

The whole cultural activities has a good atmosphere and admired by the students.
