Heroes from Youngsters——Opening Ceremony of “the 5th Latvia Open Wushu Championships” was Hold by Riga Culture Secondary School

Local time on February 4, 12 o’clock, Opening Ceremony of “the 5th Latvia Open Wushu Championships” was Hold by Riga Culture Secondary School.

Huang Yong, the Chinese Ambassador, Prof. Shang Quanyu, Chinese-side Director of LUCI, Volunteer Chinese Teachers, The referees from Latvia, Belarus, Lithuania and people from all walks of life attended the activity.

At the opening ceremony, Huang Yong, the Chinese Ambassador expressed his affirmation of the efforts made by Latvian Wushu Association at the Spring Festival temple fair and expressed his heartfelt wishes for the success of the competition. Prof. Shang Quanyu, Chinese-side Director of LUCI expressed the blessing of this competition, hoping that more and more people who love Wushu will join Wushu ranks.

The Wushu team from Latvia, Belarus, Lithuania respectively presented a fantastic Wushu performances for everyone. Among them, The Wushu performance played by Zhang Liufan, Wushu volunteer teacher, from China, Won the audience alike.

This activity, provided a platform for the Wushu to go abroad and to carry forward. It also made the people of the world have a deeper understanding of Wushu.
