Chinese Lantern Festival Cultural Lecture Held by Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies

Latvia local time at 16:00 on February 14, 2017, Chinese Lantern Festival cultural lecture held by Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies started .

Chinese volunteer teacher Zhao Qian first show a video about what do Chinese people do during Lantern Festival, then she began to introduce Lantern Festival.

After the introduction of the origin and customs of the Lantern Festival,volunteer teacher Zhao Qian took out a beautiful lantern work, she explained lantern represent the light of hope. After that, she began to teach students how to make their own lantern.

At the end of this lecture,volunteer teacher Zhao Qian ask every students to put a riddle in their lantern and make other students guess the answer.

With so much fun ,the lecture came to an end. Many students expressed their appreciation of the Chinese culture.
