Riga No.34 Secondary School Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival
里加当地时间10月4日，在中国传统佳节中秋节当天，位于拉脱维亚里加的里加34中学孔子课堂举办了一场中秋节欢庆会。
欢庆会从中秋节的介绍开始，中文志愿者教师吴炜在黑板上写下“中秋节快乐”五个大字，并配以拼音和英文、俄语翻译，接着在用俄语介绍完中秋节后，她教学生大声朗读“中秋节快乐”。在这之后，美妙的中国音乐从电脑中传来，大家一边听着音乐，一边品尝月饼并合影留念。
活动的最后，大家一起聊天，吴炜和大家讲了讲关于中秋节的故事，里加34中的学生们也分享了拉脱维亚传统节日的由来。学生们在品尝月饼后不断称赞其美味，还询问志愿者老师能不能学一下如何做月饼。由此看来，里加34中孔子课堂的全体师生度过了一个愉快且印象深刻的中秋节。
Local time on October 4th, in the traditional Chinese festival on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, located in Latvia Riga’s Riga No.34 Secondary School Confucius Classroom held a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.
Celebrating from the introduction of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chinese volunteer teacher Wu Wei wrote on the blackboard “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” five characters, and with Pinyin and English, Russian translation, and then introduced in Russian about the Mid-Autumn Festival, she taught students to read aloud “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” in Chinese. After that, the wonderful Chinese music came from the computer, everyone listening to the music while eating the moon cakes and taken pictures.
At the end of the event, everyone chatting together, Wu Wei and everyone talked about the story of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Riga No.34 Secondary School students also shared the origin of the traditional festivals in Latvia. Students are constantly praising their taste after tasting the moon cake and asking volunteer to learn how to make moon cakes. In view of this, all the teachers and students in Riga No.34 Secondary School Confucius Classroom had spent a pleasant and impressive Mid-Autumn Festival together.
