Jelgava Spidola Gymnasium Experienced Mid-Autumn Festival
当地时间10月4日，正逢中国的传统节日“中秋节”来临，拉脱维亚大学下设叶尔加瓦斯比杜拉中学教学点教师志愿者张扬，为学生们举办了中秋体验活动。
首先，汉语教师志愿者为学生们介绍了“中秋节”三个汉字的意义及写法。随后播放了介绍中秋节的视频，讲解了中秋节的由来、“嫦娥奔月”的神话故事，不仅介绍了中秋节的传统习俗，还讲解了现代中国人的新式中秋-多种新颖的月饼馅儿以及烧烤赏月等等，同时还介绍了周边文化圈内其他也有中秋节的国家及习俗，带领学生通过对比、拓展的方法，从各方面了解中秋节。随后带领学生体验书法，学生们第一次使用“文房四宝”写下了对东方的祝福。最后是品月饼活动，学生们第一次品尝月饼，感到非常开心，纷纷称赞月饼的精致与美味。
此次文化体验，学生们学习到了汉字、书法，收获了中秋节的知识，也体验了中国文化。学生们开心的表示，通过这堂课，他们感到离中国更近了。
Local time on October 4th, in the traditional Chinese festival on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the volunteer Chinese teacher held a Mid-Autumn Festival experience at Jelgava Spidola Gymnasium.
Experiencing from the introduction of character “中秋节”. Then playing the video of the origin of Mid-Autumn Festival as well as the story of moon goddess-Chang’e. Not only introduced the traditional custom, but also the innovative modern celebrate way of Mid-Autumn Festival, such as doing BBQ while admiring the full moon, and a variety of moon cake stuffing and so on. It also introduced the peripheral cultural circle in other countries’ custom of Mid Autumn Festival. By introducing though comparison, expansion methods, students can know the Mid-Autumn Festival from various aspects. Then the Chinese volunteer teacher led the students to experience the calligraphy. This was the first time that students used “the scholar’s four jewels” to express their best wishes to the oriental country. The last part was eating the moon cakes , it was the first time for students to eat the moon cake, they were constantly praising their good taste and fancy appearance .
Though the cultural experience, students learned Chinese characters, calligraphy, harvest the knowledge of the Mid-Autumn-Festival. At the end of the event, students said delighted that they feel closer to China.
