The Chinese culture experience at vidzeme university

当地时间10月22日，在拉脱维亚维泽梅应用科技大学零基础汉语班，学生在汉语教师的带领下体验了中国书法和水墨画。

为了让学生更好的了解中国博大精深的书法文化，以及书墨画的精髓，老师先是播放了书法的历史文化，以及王羲之等著名书法家的经典之作。

然后结合，孔子学院赠送的毛笔等实物，让同学们直观的感受文房四宝的魅力，有多名同学表示，中国的传统文化极其具有吸引力。

在学生们书写过程中，毛笔的拿法，坐姿等问题都都得到及时纠正, 并在学习了如何书写汉字的基本笔画后，同学们都迫不及待的去体验中国书法。

最后，同学们对自己的作品都很满意，要求拍照留念。本次活动不仅增加了学生对学习汉语的热情，更是对中国博大精深的历史文化有了进一步的了解。

On the local time, October 22nd, in the Chinese Class at the Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Latvia, students experienced Chinese calligraphy and ink painting under the leadership of Chinese teachers.

In order to let students better understand the profound Chinese calligraphy culture and the essence of the ink painting, the teacher shows the history and culture of calligraphy by watching the videos, as well as the classic works of famous calligraphers such as Wang Xizhi.

Fortunately, the Confucius Institute presented the university some brush and other physical objects, so that students can intuitively feel the charm of “the four treasures of the calligraphy”. Many students said that Chinese traditional culture is extremely attractive.

During the writing process of the students, the teacher shows how to hold the pen and how to write the basic strokes of Chinese character, and then the students could not wait to experience Chinese calligraphy.

Finally, the students were very satisfied with their work and asked to take pictures. This event not only increased students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese but also let the students further understanding of China’s profound history and culture.
