The celebration of Director of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia (professor Pēteris Pildegovičs)’s 80th birthday and the release of electronic version of Chinese-Latvian Dictionary / Latvian-Chinese & Chinese-Latvian Dictionary was successfully held
当地时间11月23日下午4时,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院院长贝德高教授八十大寿暨《汉语拉脱维亚语大词典》电子版/《精选拉脱维亚语汉语-汉语拉脱维亚语词典》出版发布庆典在拉脱维亚大学主楼大礼堂举行,来自中国大使馆、拉脱维亚外交部、拉脱维亚教育部、中国文化中心、新华社、拉脱维亚大学、拉脱维亚大学孔子学院、塔林大学孔子学院、华南师范大学、拉脱维亚大学人文学院、里加34中学、道加瓦皮尔斯大学、文茨皮尔斯应用科学大学、里加理工大学、叶尔加瓦斯比杜拉中学、克拉斯拉瓦中学、交通与电信大学、新马露白小学、拉脱维亚留华同学会等嘉宾以及贝教授亲友160余人出席了本次活动。此外,孔子学院总部/汉办、商务印书馆、华南师范大学、塔林大学孔子学院也发来了贺信。
首先孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授上台致辞,他向在场的各位嘉宾表示热烈欢迎并对大家的关心和祝福表示衷心的感谢。接着拉脱维亚外交部国务秘书Andris Pelšs先生、中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆代办孙应来先生、拉脱维亚教育部副国务秘书Gunta Araja女士、拉脱维亚大学校长穆伊日涅克斯教授、贝教授学生代表Agita Baltgalve教授以及孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授分别致辞,表示了对贝教授的祝福,并对汉拉大词典顺利发布表示祝贺。国务秘书Andris Pelšs高度赞扬了贝教授对中拉两国关系和拉脱维亚汉学发展做出的巨大贡献,并现场亲自为贝德高教授、语言学家Biruta Jēgere女士、尚劝余教授和于立滨女士授予政府颁发的“特殊贡献奖”荣誉称号。孙应来代办对贝教授给予了充分的肯定,他表示贝教授是中拉两国友好交往的见证者,友好关系的奠基者和建设者,同时对《汉语拉脱维亚语大词典》电子版这一成果表示赞赏。教育部副国务秘书Gunta Araja女士表示了对贝教授的深切祝福,对他取得丰硕成果表示祝贺,并代表教育部给贝教授颁奖。穆伊日涅克斯校长在致辞中对贝教授多年来对拉脱维亚汉学发展所作出的努力与贡献表示肯定。Agita Baltgalve教授在发言中表达了对贝教授的感激之情,她深情讲诉了贝教授当年教她们学汉语时的点滴温暖与感人故事。孔院中方院长尚劝余教授表达了对贝教授的崇高敬意与深切的祝福。
然后大家一起欣赏了“贝教授的光荣岁月”和“孔子学院师生贺寿”短片,在短片中传递出浓浓的祝福,感动了在场的每一个人。随后拉脱维亚大学人文学院院长Ilze Rumniece和Leons Taivans教授致辞,表达了对贝教授的祝贺并赠送了礼物和鲜花。紧接着是《汉语拉脱维亚语大词典》电子版现场演示环节,大家拿起手机根据现场示范进行逐步操作,体验该电子词典的高效、实用与便捷。
随着电子词典演示完毕,一场诚意满满的文艺表演欢乐开场。汉语志愿者教师尹艳和学生玛丽亚同台表演,用书法和中国舞,诠释“以和为贵”的中国传统美德;中学生贝娜茜和丽莎深情演唱《月亮代表我的心》;汉语爱好者小荷花和安娜一家带来了歌舞节目《朋友》;来自叶尔加瓦的玛莎欢快演绎《青春修炼手册》让现场充满青春气息;来自留华同学会的安娜和丽莎展示了有趣的杯子歌《我做得到》;汉语志愿者教师集体演唱欢乐喜庆的《祝寿歌》和寓意深厚的《好大一棵树》,用歌声表达对贝教授的生日祝福。表演接近尾声,惊喜依旧持续。汉语老师手捧鲜花,还有一本写满祝福的留言册,让贝教授和在场的各位再次心中掀起波澜。贝教授上台发言,再次表达了自己心中的喜悦与感激之情。
最后,集体合影留念并品尝了美味的点心,本次庆典圆满落下帷幕。
The celebration of Director of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia (professor Pēteris Pildegovičs)’s 80th birthday and the release of electronic version of Chinese-Latvian Dictionary / Latvian-Chinese & Chinese-Latvian Dictionary was held in the Grand Auditorium of University of Latvia. More than 160 people including guests and friends from Chinese Embassy, Foreign Ministry of Latvia, Education Ministry of Latvia, China Culture Center in Latvia, Xinhua News Agency, University of Latvia, Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Confucius Institute at Tallinn University, South China Normal University, Faculty of Humanities of University of Latvia, Riga No. 34 Secondary School, Confucius Class at Daugavpils University, Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, Riga Technical University, Jelgava Spidola State Gymnasium, Kraslava State Gymnasium, Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Jaunmarupe Primary School, China Alumni Association of Latvia attended the event. In addition, Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, Commercial Press, South China Normal University, and Confucius Institute at Tallinn University also sent congratulatory letters.
First of all, director of LUCI, Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs gave a speech. He expressed a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and sincere gratitude to everyone for their concern and blessing. Then, Mr. Andris Pelšs, Secretary of State for Foreign Ministry of Latvia, Mr. Sun Yinglai, the Charge d’affaires of Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Ms. Gunta Araja, Deputy Secretary of State for Education Ministry of Latvia, Mr. Muižnieks, Rector of University of Latvia, Prof. Agita Baltgalve as a representative of Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs’ students, and Chinese-side Director of LUCI, Prof. Shang Quanyu delivered speeches respectively. They expressed the blessing to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs and congratulated the successful publication of the dictionaries. Mr. Andris Pelšs highly praised Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs for his great contribution to the relations between China and Latvia and the development of Sinology in Latvia. He granted Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs, Ms. Biruta Jēgere, Prof. Shang Quanyu and Ms. Yu Libin a special contribution award from the government. Sun Yinglai, Charge d’affaires of Chinese Embassy in Latvia, gave full affirmation to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs. He said that Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs is a witness to the friendly exchanges between China and Latvia, and the founder and builder of friendly relations of the two countries. He also expressed his appreciation for the achievement of the electronic version of the Chinese-Latvian Dictionary in his speech. Ms. Gunta Araja, Deputy Secretary of State for Education Ministry of Latvia, expressed her deep blessing to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs and congratulated him on his fruitful achievements. Rector Muižnieks fully affirmed Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs’ efforts and contributions to the development of sinology in Latvia for years. Prof. Agita Baltgalve expressed his gratitude to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs. She shared the touching stories about Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs’ teaching them Chinese and helping them know more about China. Prof. Shang Quanyu expressed his high respect and deep blessing to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs in his speech.
Then everyone watched the video “Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs’ glorious years” and “the blessing of Confucius Institute teachers and students” together. After the video, Prof. Ilze Rumniece, dean of Faculty of Humanities of University of Latvia, and Prof. Leons Taivans delivered speeches to express their blessing and presented gifts and flowers to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs. Next is the live demonstration of the electronic version of the Chinese-Latvian Dictionary. Everyone followed the live demonstration step by step to experience the efficient, practical and convenient electronic dictionary.
After the live demonstration, a gala show opened. Chinese volunteer teacher Yin Yan and her student Marija Skangale performed dance and Chinese painting; Middle school students Jelizaveta Markosjana and Anastasija Petrova soulfully sang the song “The Moon Represents My Heart”; Chinese fans Marija and Anna Nilovas performed song and dance “Friend”; Marija Svacka from Jelgava cheerfully performed “Youth Handbook” and made the scene full of youthful atmospheres. Anna Vodolagina and Jelizaveta Markosjana from the China Alumni Association of Latvia brought the interesting cup song “I Can Do It”; The Chinese volunteer teachers sang the joyful “Birthday Song” and the affecting song “A Big Tree” “, using their singing to express best wishes to Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs. The performance was coming to an end but the surprise continued. The Chinese teachers presented flowers and Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs’ students presented memorial notebook. Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs gave his speech once again and expressed his joy and gratitude.
In the end, everyone got together to take a group photo and tasted the delicious snacks. This celebration ahieved a great success.
