The “Spring Festival” Cultural Experience Course was held at  Chinese Classroom of Transportation and Telecommunication Institute

当地时间2019年2月7日、2月11日晚上六点半,汉语志愿者教师王昕带领交通与电信大学汉语初级班及中级班的同学们一起感受了春节的喜悦。

首先,教师借助PPT、图片及视频等工具,向学生们详细地展示了中国人过春节的整个过程,例如在介绍春晚时,教师将挑选好的2019年春晚节目播放给学生们观看,其中《少林魂》这一节目赢得了学生们的一致好评,大家对铿锵有力、整齐划一的少林功夫赞不绝口。

另外,教师在介绍完一些有趣的习俗后,还为学生们准备了各种小惊喜,其中发红包是学生们最喜欢的一个环节,无论是高中生还是社会人士,大家收到红包后都非常开心,同时也觉得这一习俗非常有趣。除此之外,教师还在每个人的红包中藏了不同的字谜,这不仅让学生们了解了中国的谜语文化,还让原本“畏惧”汉字的学生们对汉字产生了极大的兴趣。

之后,教师请学生们一起学习立体剪纸——“春”,并教大家写“福”字,待所有作品完成后,教师再次向学生们解释“福”字及“倒福”的含义,并向大家展示中国人是如何贴“福”字的。

最后,本次春节文化体验课在学生们各式各样的新春祝福语中欢快地落下了帷幕。本次春节文化活动将学生们学习汉语的热情推向了一个更高点,活动不仅让学生们近距离感受了中国春节的欢乐气氛,同时也让学生们进一步了解了中国的传统文化。

At 6:30 pm on February 7th and February 11th , 2019, local time, Chinese volunteer teacher Wang Xin led the students of the Chinese Classes of Transportation and Telecommunication Institute to experience the culture of Chinese Spring Festival.

First of all, the teacher showed the students the whole process of the Chinese New Year by pictures, the slides, and videos. For example, when introducing the Spring Festival Gala, the teacher played the selected programs of 2019 Spring Festival Gala to the students. Among them, the “Shaolin Spirit” program won the praise of the students. Everyone praised the powerful and uniform Shaolin Kung Fu.

After introducing some interesting customs, the teachers also prepared a variety of surprises for students. Among them, the red envelope was a favorite part for the students. Whether they are the high school students or the social person, everyone was very happy after receiving a red envelope, and thought that this custom was really interesting. In addition, teacher also put some different riddles in each person’s red envelope, which not only allowed students to understand the Chinese riddle culture, but also made the students who originally “feared” Chinese characters have a great interest in Chinese characters.

After that, the teacher taught the students to do the paper-cutting “Spring” and to write the Chinese character “Fu”. After all the works were completed, the teacher explained again the meaning of “Fu” to the students, and then showed everyone how the Chinese posted the word “Fu” on the door.

Finally, this Experience course has come to a happy ending during the various Chinese New Year greetings from students. This Spring Festival cultural event has pushed students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese to a higher point. The event not only allows students to feel the joyful atmosphere of the Chinese Spring Festival, but also allows students to further understand the Chinese traditional culture.
