Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University celebrated the Chinese New Year
当地时间2019年2月11日下午五点半，道加瓦皮尔斯大学孔子课堂举办了一场“欢度春节”主题活动。该活动由两位汉语教师志愿者教师策划。首先，学生用自己在文化课上剪好的窗花装饰教室。其次，老师将做好的中国菜摆上桌，并向学生介绍菜式，学生们表示很感兴趣。然后，老师讲解了关于新年的习俗，并举杯祝大家新年快乐。团圆饭后，“饺子派对”开始了。两位老师分别来自中国的南北方，她们“各显神通”，向学生展示了不同饺子的包法。在喜庆的音乐里，学生们纷纷参与其中，享受包饺子的乐趣。大家在欢乐的气氛中一起度过了一个热闹的“道城中国年”。
Local time at 17:30, 11th of February, the teachers and students from Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University celebrated the Chinese New Year through a series of activities. First, students decorated the window by their own paper-cutting works, which gave the classroom a real since of Chinese New Year. Secondly, teachers placed all the Chinese dishes which were cooked by themselves on the table. They introduced the Chinese dishes and Spring Festival custom to students and wished them a happy Chinese New Year. After the Chinese styled reunion dinner, the “dumpling party” began. The two teachers came from the south and north of China, hence they showed both southern and northern dumpling making skills to the students. With the festival music, students all participated in and enjoyed the fun of making dumplings. Everyone spent a lively “Daugavpils Chinese New Year” together in a joyful atmosphere.
