Delegation from Jinan University paid a visit to University of Latvia

2019年6月13日，在拉脱维亚大学孔子学院牵线搭桥下，暨南大学副校长饶敏、国际交流合作处副处长何睿弘、教务处长张小欣、社科处长潘启亮、国际学院书记邓永忠、艺术学院院长李学武一行六人访问拉脱维亚大学。拉脱维亚大学副校长兼孔子学院理事长伊娜、国际处处长兼孔子学院理事阿丽娜、孔子学院拉方院长贝德高和中方院长尚劝余出席接待活动。宾主双方就合作交流事宜进行了广泛的讨论，达成了共识，并签署了学生交换等多项协议。此外，代表团参观了1862年建造的拉脱维亚大学主楼以及位于主楼的孔子学院办公室，宾主互赠礼品，表达诚意。此次访问，加深了双方的了解和友谊，必将推动双方的合作与交流。

On June 13, 2019, with help of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, a six-member delegation from Jinan University consisting of Vice-president Rao Min, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office He Ruihong, Director of Academic Affairs Office Zhang Xiaoxin, Director of Social Science Research Department Pan Qiliang, Director of International College Deng Yongzhong, Dean of Arts College Li Xuewu,paid a visit to University of Latvia. Vice-rector of University of Latvia and Chairperson of Board of Confucius Institute Ina Druviete, Director of International Relations and member of Board of Confucius Institute  Alina Grzibovska, Latvian director of Confucius Institute Peteris Pildegovis and Chinese director of Confucius Institute Shang Quanyu received the delegation. The two parties had an extensive and intensive discussions about issues concerning mutual cooperation and exchanges, and reached a concensus and signed memorandum concerning students exchange etc. In addition, the delegation took a tour in the main building of University of Latvia which was built in 1862 and Confucius Institute office. The two parties exchanged gifts and expressed each other’s sincerity. This visit deepened mutual understanding and friendship, and would definitely promote the further bilateral cooperation and exchanges between two parties.
