Directors from Confucius Institute at University of Latvia participated the Joint Conference of European CI at Frankfurt
On June 27th and 28th , directors from 18 European Confucius Institutes gathered together at Confucius Institute at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, to exchange information and discuss issues concerning the development of CI.
Prof van Dick, Vice President of International Affairs from Goethe University Frankfurt), Mr. Jiao Hailong, Consul for Education of Consulate General of P. R.C in Frankfurt, Dr Michael Borchmann, Ministerialdirigent a D, Chairperson of the Board of CI Frankfurt made speeches respectively.Prof Dr Anna Rosinus from University of Applied Sciences, Mainz, Germany made a Keynote speech: “Strategic Partnership: Sharing and Networking in Organizations of the 21st Century”.
The conference discussed issues concerning the further development of CI in three workshops.Workshop 1: Best Practice at Europe’s Confucius Institutes: Sharing Resources and Building Network ms with Local Partners; Workshop 2:Building a Strong Networks, Sharing Resources and Information among European Confucius Institutes; Workshop 3a: How can Hanban Support Resource and Information Sharing among Confucius Institutes and Workshop 3(b): Fostering and Developing Team Spirit in a Cross-Cultural Environment. It was concluded by Summary and feedback.
This was the first conference of European Confucius Institutes held on the basis of discussing themes instead of participating countries and regions, which was more practical and effective. Latvian director Prof Peteris Pildegovics and Chinese director Prof Shang Quanyu from Confucius Institute at University of Latvia participated the conference and interacted with other directors in a way of mutual exchange and learning, which would definitely promote further development of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia.
2019年6月27日-28日，欧洲18国孔子学院中外方院长齐聚德国法兰克福歌德大学孔子学院，交流信息，商讨孔院发展大计。
法兰克福歌德大学副校长范堤克教授、中国驻法兰克福总领馆教育文化组领事焦海龙、德国黑森州政府欧洲及国际事务司前司长博喜文博士、法兰克福孔子学院理事长杨治宜分别致辞。美因茨应用科学大学教授Anna Rosinus做主旨演讲：《战略伙伴关系：21世纪组织机构之间的资源共享和交流》。
会议分为三个议题，就孔院发展相关事宜进行了深入讨论。议题之一：欧洲孔子学院的最佳实践：与当地合作伙伴共享资源并建立网络；议题之二：建立强大的联络网，在欧洲孔子学院之间共享资源和信息；议题之三(A)：汉办如何支持孔子学院的资源和信息共享；议题之三(B)：在跨文化环境中培养和发展团队精神。最后，进行了会议总结与反馈。
这是欧洲孔子学院第一次按照议题召开联席会议，打破了之前按照国别和地区召开联席会议的传统，更具有针对性和可行性。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授和中方院长尚劝余教授出席了会议，并与其他孔院代表互动讨论，互相交流和学习，进一步推动拉脱维亚大学孔子学院的发展。
