Latvian Culture Academy holds Mid-Autumn Festival cultural event

当地时间9月20日上午8:30，拉脱维亚文化学院举行中秋节文化活动，参加活动的有初级班的7名学生和汉语教师志愿者黄天祺。

首先，汉语老师介绍了中秋节的来源，为学生们生动地讲述了嫦娥奔月的历史传说并观看了动画视频。其次，老师带领学生们欣赏了关于中秋节的诗歌和歌曲《但愿人长久》，学生们很喜欢诗歌中的一句“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。”，接着学生们学习书写汉字“中秋节快乐”写上了自己的节日祝福，最后，在品尝中华美食月饼中活动拉下了帷幕。

中秋节对于中国人有着重要的意义，这次活动不仅丰富了学生的文化知识，也更一步了解到中国的节日习俗。

At local time 8:30 am.on September 20th, the Latvian Culture Academy held a Mid-Autumn Festival cultural event. Seven students from the primary class and Volunteer Chinese language teacher Huang Tianqi attended the event.

First of all, the Chinese teacher introduced the source of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and vividly told the students about the historical legends of the moon then watched the video. Secondly, the students were invited to appreciate the poems and songs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, “I hope that people will last for a long time.” The students liked the phrase “I hope that people will last forever, when they share one moon.” Then students learned to write Chinese characters “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” wrote their own holiday blessings.Finally, the event ended in the taste of Chinese food moon cakes.

The Mid-Autumn Festival has important significance for the Chinese. This event not only enriches the students’ cultural knowledge, but also further understands Chinese festival customs.
