Online Lectures on Sinology by the University of Latvia Confucius Institute Directors and Secretary
2020年8月3号至31号拉脱维亚留华同学会和中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆联合主办在线汉学讲座,由拉脱维亚留华同学会长卡琳娜主持,共有9位学者举办了十场讲座。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院中方院长尚劝余,拉方院长贝德高和秘书玛丽娅分别精心题为《中国人的名字和称谓》,《北京的名胜古迹和公园》,《宋代花鸟画》的讲座。
贝德高教授在北京生活了四年,在拉脱维亚驻华大使馆和新华社工作,非常熟悉北京的玛丽娅曾在华南师范大学美术学院留学,学习国画,之后在赫尔辛基大学攻读汉学,名胜古迹和公园,他结合自己的亲身经历和他渊博的汉学知识,准确地发现了北京重要的文化古迹和公园。玛丽亚主要指出了宋代的花鸟起源,流派,代表人物以及代表作等。
这是拉脱维亚第一次在线汉学讲座,吸引到的汉语爱好者,进一步弘扬了中国文化,受到汉语爱好者的热烈欢迎和反响。
From August 3 to 31, 2020, the Chinese Alumni Association of Latvia and the Chinese Embassy in Latvia jointly organized an online Sinology seminar, hosted by Karina Jermaka, the President of the Chinese Alumni Association of Latvia, and a total of 9 scholars gave ten lectures. The Chinese Side Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia Shang Quanyu, Latvian Side Director Peteris Pildegovics, and Secretary Marija Jurso respectively gave lectures titled “Chinese Names and Appellations”, “Beijing Historical Spots and Parks”, and “Song Dynasty Flower and Bird Painting” .
Professor Shang Quanyu talked about the origin, composition, characteristics, historical evolution and cultural meaning of Chinese names and appellations. Professor Pildegovics lived in Beijing for four years and worked in the Latvian Embassy in China and Xinhua News Agency. He is very familiar with Beijing’s historical sites and parks. He combined his personal experience and his profound knowledge of Sinology to vividly describe the importance of Beijing cultural sites and parks. Marija studied Chinese painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of South China Normal University, and then studied for a Master’s degree in Sinology at the University of Helsinki. During that time, she went to Peking University to study the history of Chinese art and Chinese painting. Marija told about the origins, genres, representative figures and masterpieces of flower and bird painting in Song Dynasty.
This is the first online Sinology seminar in Latvia, attracting a large number of Chinese language enthusiasts, further promoting Chinese culture, and receiving a warm welcome and response from Chinese language enthusiasts.
