C-Eudaemonia Students “My China Story” Interaction and Camp Closing Ceremony

On the afternoon of July 16, 2023, Confucius Institute at University of Latvia and Chinese Cultural Center in Riga jointly held an international exchange activity — “My Chinese Story” interaction and camp closing ceremony for C-Eudaemonia Students.Peteris Pildegovics,Shang Quanyu and Madara Smalka from Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Wang Nan, Han Zhuang,Yang Sen and Parsla Dambe from Chinese Cultural Center in Riga, Edvins Gajevisks and C-Eudaemonia Students Camp headed by Zeng Yue attended the activity.

Zeng Yue presided over the opening ceremony. Director Wang Nan introduced Chinese Cultural Center in Riga. Director Shang Quanyu introduced Confucius Institute at University of Latvia and Professor Peteris Pildegovics.Director Peteris Pildegovics shared his love for China and his book “My China Story”. C-Eudaemonia Students exchanged ideas and interacted with Director Peteris Pildegovics on “My China Story”.Then, C-Eudaemonia Students shared the sustainable development practices of Chinese teenagers, and shared their cultural experience and feelings in Latvia.In the end, Directors Peteris Pildegovics and Shang Quanyu signed the Chinese version of “My China Story”–“My China Diary” for the campers, and also signed and issued certificates of completion to the campers.

This activity has deepened the understanding of Chinese teenagers on Latvia and composed a new ode to friendly exchanges between China and Latvia.

2023年7月16日下午，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院和里加中国文化中心联合举办橙知优德拉脱维亚青少年国际交流活动—《我的中国故事》交流互动及结营仪式。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高、中方院长尚劝余和汉语教师马笑笑，里加中国文化中心主任王楠、顾问韩庄、财务主管杨森、秘书艾文等，中国大使馆经商处前秘书艾晓奇、以及曾月率领的橙知优德拉脱维亚青少年国际交流夏令营成员们出席了活动。

曾月主持开场，王楠主任介绍里加中国文化中心，尚劝余院长介绍拉脱维亚大学孔子学院和贝德高院长，贝德高院长介绍他的中国情缘以及著作《我的中国故事》，营员们与贝德高院长就《我的中国故事》进行交流互动。接着，橙知优德学员分享中国青少年的可持续发展实践，并分享他们在拉脱维亚的文化体验和感受。最后，贝德高院长和尚劝余院长为营员们签名《我的中国故事》中文版《我的中国日记》，并为营员们签名和颁发结营证书。

此次活动加深了中国青少年对拉脱维亚的了解，谱写了一曲新的中拉友好交流的颂歌。
