Confucius Institute at University of Latvia attended the Teachers’ Day event held by the Chinese Embassy 拉脱维亚大学孔子学院出席中国大使馆举办的教师节活动
On the afternoon of September 9, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Latvia successfully held the 39th Teachers’ Day reception.
Participants include Ambassador Tang Songgen of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Minister-Counselor Song Danhui, Director of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia Professor Shang Quanyu and his wife Ms. Zhang Guiying, the new director Professor He Dong and his wife Ms. Tao Liping, Chinese volunteer teachers, Latvian Karina, an international student and president of the Chinese Alumni Association, Ms. Dace Ratniece, a Latin teacher at Beijing International Studies University, and so on.
At the beginning of the reception, Ambassador Tang Songgen of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia delivered a speech to welcome all the guests. Then, Professor Shang Quanyu, Director of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Professor He Dong, Director of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, teacher representative Bai Bingyu, international student representative Yang Jintao, Beijing International Studies University Latin teacher Ms. Dace Ratniece, Latvian Alumni Association in China President Karina spoke separately. Finally, Minister Counselor Song Danhui of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia made a concluding speech, wishing all the teachers who are committed to education in China and Latvia a happy Teacher’s Day.
Guests and friends at the reception took photos together in a lively atmosphere and enjoyed delicious food together in a joyful atmosphere. At the end the reception ended successfully!

参会人员有中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆唐松根大使、宋丹卉公参、拉脱维亚孔子学院院长尚劝余教授及夫人张桂英女士、新任院长何东教授及夫人陶丽萍女士、诸位汉语志愿者教师一行、拉脱维亚留学生、留华同学会会长卡琳娜、北京第二外国语学院拉语老师Dace Ratniece女士等人。
招待会开始之际，中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆唐松根大使致辞，对各位来宾到来表示欢迎。接着，由拉脱维亚大学孔子学院院长尚劝余教授、拉脱维亚大学孔子学院院长何东教授、教师代表白冰玉老师、留学生代表杨锦涛、北京第二外国语学院拉语老师Dace Ratniece女士、拉脱维亚留华同学会会长卡琳娜分别发言。最后由中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆宋丹卉公参总结发言，祝各位致力于中拉教育事业的老师们教师节快乐。
招待会的嘉宾朋友们在热闹的氛围中参合影留念，并在欢乐的氛围中一起享受美食。到此，本次招待会圆满结束！
