The All-Teachers Conference of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia was successfully held 拉脱维亚大学孔子学院全体教师大会成功举行

News from the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia Correspondent Zhang Hanxu Photography Tang Jing .On the afternoon of September 29, 2023, a meeting of all teachers of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia was held in Room 410 of the Confucius Institute Headquarters, No. 10 Industrial Street, Riga. Director Shang Quanyu and He Dong co-chaired the meeting, which was attended by assistant director Bai Bingyu, Xu Shen and all Chinese teachers.

The meeting is divided into four stages. In the first stage, Director Shang explained the origin of the 2016 version of the job responsibilities of Chinese teachers. Each volunteer read out an article, studied and discussed, and conducted democratic discussions and revisions one by one. In the second stage, Director He briefly introduced his past study and work experience, affirmed the serious work attitude and warm working atmosphere of the members of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, and then made a semester work plan report mainly on teaching management, exchanges and cooperation, academic publications, etc. In the third stage, Assistant director Bai Bingyu deployed key tasks for this semester and emphasized some work precautions. In the fourth stage, Director He presided over a Chinese teaching seminar with the theme of “Taking Student Learning as the Center to Achieve High-Quality Chinese Teaching”. Director He briefly introduced the teaching philosophy, language immersion teaching model and scientific research paradigm of the “Student” Center, and arranged for Chinese teachers to hold online exchanges and discussions after the meeting to explore methods and paths to achieve high-quality teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It also provides a wealth of literature for reference in teaching and scientific research.

This all-teachers meeting concluded successfully. It is hoped that members of the Confucius Institute in Latvia can work together to further improve the level of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and let the flower of Chinese language bloom more brilliantly in Latvia.

2023年9月29日下午，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院全体教师会议在里加工业街10号、孔院本部410教室举行。尚劝余与何东两位院长共同主持会议，参会人员有院长助理白冰玉、徐申以及全体汉语教师。

会议分为四个阶段。第一阶段，尚院长讲解了2016版的汉语教师岗位职责的由来，志愿者每人宣读一个条款，边学习，边讨论，进行民主讨论和逐条修订。第二阶段，何院长简单介绍了自己过往的学习和工作经历，肯定了拉脱维亚大学孔子学院成员认真的工作态度以及温馨的工作氛围，随后主要针对教学管理、交流合作、学术发表等方面报告了学期工作计划。第三阶段，院长助理白冰玉老师部署了本学期重点工作，强调了一些工作注意事项。第四阶段，何院长主持开展主题为“以学生学习为中心，实现高质量汉语教学”的汉语教学研讨会。何院长简要介绍了“学生”中心的教学理念、语言浸入式教学模式和科研范式等内容，安排汉语教师会后举行线上交流与研讨，以探讨实现高质量对外汉语教学的方法与路径，并提供丰富的文献资料，供大家在教学与科研中参考。

本次全体教师会议圆满结束，希望拉脱维亚孔子学院成员能够齐心协力，进一步提高对外汉语教学水平，让汉语之花在拉脱维亚更加绚丽地绽放。
