Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia Participants Engage in Online Project ”Illustrated Six Categories, Animated Chinese Characters”拉脱维亚大学孔子学院学员参与“图解六书，动画汉字”线上项目

At 1:30 PM local time in Riga on December 1, 2023, the opening ceremony for the 2023 “Chinese Bridge” Online Group Project “Illustrated Six Categories, Animated Chinese Characters” commenced online. The guests, teachers, and students participating in this event were from the International Culture College of South China Normal University, Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, Universitas Dunia Indonesia, and Hanoi University of Business and Technology in Vietnam. Mr. Zuo Pengjun, the Dean of the International Culture College of South China Normal University, delivered a welcoming speech, while Bai Bingyu, a Chinese teacher from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Latvia, and Oleksandra Kolivanova (Chinese name Wan Shabai), a student from Riga 64th Middle School, respectively, spoke as overseas team leader representative and camper representative. Through introductions, learning guidance, online campus tours and other activities, the campers officially embarked on an eight-day online journey exploring the beauty of Chinese character culture.

里加时间2023年12月1日下午一点半，华南师范大学2023年“汉语桥”线上团组交流项目“图解六书，动画汉字”开营仪式在线上启动。出席本次活动的嘉宾、教师与学生来自华南师范大学国际文化学院、拉脱维亚大学孔子学院、印尼世界大学、越南河内商业科技大学等。华南师范大学国际文化学院院长左鹏军先生致欢迎词，拉脱维亚大学人文学院汉语教师白冰玉与里加64中学学生万沙白分别作为海外领队代表和营员代表致辞。通过导言和学习指导、线上校园浏览等环节，营员们正式开启了为期八天的线上汉字文化之旅，领略国学经典《六书》的魅力。
