Representatives of Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia visits Confucius Institute at Tallinn University拉脱维亚大学孔子学院代表团应邀访问塔林大学孔子学院

On June 3, 2024, representatives of Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia: director and professor Pēteris Pildegovičs from Latvian side, director and professor He Dong from Chinese side and his wife Tao Liping, and secretary Anastasija Galkina, came to capital of Estonia – Tallinn to visit Confucius Institute at Tallinn University representatives:  director Anete Elken from Estonian side and director and professor Zhu Lu from Chinese side and participated in arranged on site meeting.

During the meeting, representatives from Latvian side have expressed gratitude to Confucius Institute at University of Tallinn for the thoughtful arrangements and hospitality. Directors from both sides have exchanged of views on topics of common concern, such as the history and current situation of two institutes, the long-term friendly cooperative relationship between the two sides, the development model of teaching outlets, the construction of teaching staff, the curriculum instruction, and the future cooperation. The meeting was profitable, and the result was successful.

Finally, all representatives of both sides hoped that the two Confucius Institutes would establish a regular mechanism for mutual visits, to promote the common development of Chinese education in Latvia and Estonia and work together to meet the learning needs of people in the Baltic region for Chinese language and culture.

【拉脱维亚大学孔子学院讯 通讯员 高安娜 摄影 陶丽萍】2024年6月3日，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院代表团一行四人，拉方院长贝德高、中方院长何东及夫人陶丽萍、秘书高安娜，应邀访问塔林大学孔子学院。爱沙尼亚塔林大学孔子学院爱方院长安黛和中方院长朱璐迎接了我方代表，并举行了双边会谈。

会谈中，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院院长对塔林大学孔子学院的诚挚邀请和热情接待表示衷心感谢。双方院长就各自孔子学院的历史和现状、双边长期友好合作关系、教学网点发展模式、师资队伍建设、课程与教学、未来合作等共同关心的话题，进行了充分而热烈的交流。会谈成果丰硕，取得圆满成功。

最后，双方院长希望两所孔院建立常态化的互访机制，促进拉脱维亚和爱沙尼亚两国的中文教育事业共同发展，为满足波罗的海地区人们的中国语言文化的学习需求而共同努力。
