2025 Spring Festival Gala of Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia Successfully Held / 拉脱维亚大学孔子学院2025年蛇年迎新春晚会成功举办

【拉脱维亚大学孔子学院讯 通讯员:文晔 摄影:胡芮、葛欣怡】当地时间1月24日下午六点,“2025中国蛇年迎新春活动”在拉脱维亚大学大礼堂隆重举行。本次活动由拉脱维亚大学孔子学院主办,拉脱维亚留华同学会协办,中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆大使唐松根先生和宋丹卉公参、里加中国文化中心周斌主任、华人华侨联合会、拉中友好协会等组织机构的代表、拉脱维亚大学副校长Enno Ence先生、拉脱维亚大学孔子学院外方院长贝德高教授和中方院长何东教授、孔子学院师生及其他中拉两国各界人士共计400余人出席参加。

活动伊始,拉大中外方院长贝德高教授和何东教授致辞,他们简要总结了过去一年的孔院发展情况,并向全体拜年;唐松根大使评价了拉脱维亚大学孔子学院在中拉文化交流中取得的成就,并介绍了中国蛇年文化的深层内涵,给中拉所有的朋友们送上了新年“天下第一福”;拉脱维亚大学副校长Enno Ence先生也阐释了他对中国蛇年文化的理解,认为中国春节非遗文化是人类共同的精神财富,他鼓励大家继续相互学习、建立文化对话,并促进不同文化之间的相互理解。

金狮贺岁迎春来,一场精彩的“舞狮”表演为蛇年春节庆典正式拉开了帷幕。随后,舞蹈、歌曲、乐器表演、武术表演等节目轮番登场,优美动听的歌曲《少年》、五种语言小合唱《欢乐颂》、童声合唱《你笑起来真好看》、古筝钢琴联奏、太极拳、八卦掌等节目,赢得了观众的阵阵喝彩并收获了嘉宾们的高度评价。

本次活动不仅为在拉的华人华侨营造了欢乐祥和的节日氛围,更让众多拉脱维亚人近距离体验了中华文化的独特魅力,同时也再次彰显了拉大孔院在推动国际中文教育、促进中拉文化交流和友好合作中的重要作用。

 

At 6 p.m. local time on January 24, the “2025 Chinese New Year of the Snake” event was grandly held in the auditorium of the University of Latvia. The event was hosted by the Confucius Institute of the University of Latvia and co-organized by the Chinese Alumni Association of Latvia. Mr. Tang Songgen, ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Ms. Song Danhui, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Mr. Zhou Bin, director of the Chinese Cultural Centre in Riga, Representatives of the Federation of Chinese Overseas Chinese, the Latvian Chinese Friendship Association and other organizations and institutions, Mr. Enno Ence, Vice Rector of the University of Latvia, Prof. Peteris Pildegovics, the director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia from Latvian side and Prof. He Dong, the director of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia from Chinese side, as well as all the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, and other people from all walks of life of the two countries, including a total of more than 400 people attended the event.

Firstly, Prof. Peteris Pildegovics and Prof. He Dong delivered speeches, briefly summarizing the development of the Confucius Institute in the past year and paying New Year’s greetings to all. Then, Ambassador Tang Songgen highly evaluating the achievements of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia in China-Latvia cultural exchanges, and introduced the deeper connotation of the Chinese New Year culture, and gave all the friends in China and Latvia the “world’s first ‘Fu’” for the New Year. Afterwards, Mr. Enno Ence, Vice Rector of the University of Latvia, explained his understanding of the Chinese New Year of the Snake culture, believing that the Chinese New Year’s non-legacy culture is the common spiritual wealth of mankind, he also encouraged us to continue to learn from each other, to establish a dialogue of cultures, and to promote mutual understanding among different cultures.

A wonderful “Lion Dance” performance officially opened the Spring Festival celebrations for the Year of the Snake. After that, dance, songs, musical instruments, martial arts performance and other performances took turns to bring a strong Chinese New Year atmosphere to the guests and won the applause of the audience. Guests spoke highly of the event.

This event not only created a joyful and peaceful festival atmosphere for Chinese people in Latvia, but also allowed many Latvians to experience the unique charm of Chinese culture up close. The event once again highlighted the important role of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia in promoting international Chinese language education, cultural exchanges and friendly cooperation between China and Latvia.
