Confucius Classroom at Daugavapils University successfully held the Mid-Autumn Festival

拉脱维亚当地时间9月18日，道加瓦皮尔斯大学孔子课堂举办了一次中秋节文化体验活动，两位汉语教师志愿者以及大学一年级和三年级的学生参加了本次活动。

首先，汉语教师志愿者王璐播放了介绍中国中秋节的短片，通过视频让学生对中秋节有了初步的印象。其次，教师向学生介绍中秋节的起源、传说、习俗和含义，让学生各自用拉语、俄语、意大利语写下中秋节的祝福，帮助学生更深入地了解中国传统节日中秋节。接着，教师带领学生一起歌唱中文歌曲《月亮代表我的心》。最后，同学们互相赠送了“中秋节快乐”的祝福卡片，还共同品尝了不同口味的月饼。

中秋节是中国十分重要的传统节日，这次庆中秋主题活动形式多样，不仅丰富了学生的中国节庆知识，也在活动中让学生感受到中秋节背后的深远意义。

On September 18th, local time in Latvia, the Confucius Classroom at Daugavapils University held a Mid-Autumn Festival cultural experience event.Two Chinese teachers and students from the first and third grades of the university participated in the event.

First of all,Chinese teacher Wang Wei played a short video introducing the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival,and through the video,students gave a preliminary impression of the Mid-Autumn Festival.Secondly,the teacher introduced the students to the origins, legends, customs and meanings of the Mid-Autumn Festival,so that students could write the blessings of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Latvian,Russian and Italian to help students understand the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.Then,the teacher led the students to sing the Chinese song The Moon Represents My Heart.Finally, the students presented each other with a “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” blessing card, and also tasted moon cakes of different flavors.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important traditional festival in China. This Mid-Autumn Festival theme has a variety of forms, which not only enriches the students’ knowledge of Chinese festivals, but also makes students feel the far-reaching significance behind the Mid-Autumn Festival.
