The Chinese Cultural Experience at Latvian Montessori Elementary School -Chinese calligraphy

当地时间10月29日，蒙特梭利探索小学汉语班的学生们在老师的带领下体验了中国的书法。

为了让同学们感受灿烂的书法文化，老师以播放视频的方式向学生们展示了书法的历史以及汉字的演变。

正式开始写字前，老师一一纠正了学生们的握笔姿势和坐姿，如果姿势不对，不仅会影响书法的艺术效果，还对身体不利。之后，学生们便迫不及待地开始书写老师教过的笔画和数字。

在学生们书写过程中，老师也在不断演示汉字中五个基本笔画“横、竖、撇、点、捺”的写法，并教学生们学写数字一到十。这样一来不仅让学生们复习了数字，同时也让学生们在书写简单的汉字过程中获得了一定的自豪感。

本次文化活动不仅让学生们在文化体验的过程中掌握了汉字的基本笔画以及十个数字的写法，更使学生们感受到中国文化的魅力。

In order to let the students enjoy the splendid calligraphy culture, the teacher showed the history of calligraphy and the evolution of Chinese characters by playing videos.

Before the official start of writing, teacher corrected students’ posture of holding pen and posture of sitting. If the posture is wrong, it will not only affect the artistic effect of calligraphy, but also be detrimental to the body. After that, the students couldn’t wait to write the strokes and the characters of numbers from one to ten.

During the writing process of the students, the teacher also constantly demonstrated the five basic strokes of Chinese characters: “horizontal, vertical, left-falling, dot, and right-falling”, and taught students to write the Chinese character from one to ten. This not only lets students to review the numbers, but also allows students to gain pride in the process of writing simple Chinese characters.

This cultural activity not only allowed students to master the basic strokes of Chinese characters and the ten-digit writing in the process of cultural experience, but also made students feel the charm of Chinese culture.
