活动初,学生纷纷拿出自己事先准备的食材,用汉语介绍自己最喜欢的食物。一阵切洗摆放后,学生在教师的演示下开始烹煮火锅底料,调取蘸料。起先,学生们对火锅“万物皆可煮”的神奇属性心存怀疑,对葱姜蒜酱混于一体的调味方式也目瞪口呆,但依旧围坐在火锅旁跃跃欲试。直到第一盘热腾腾的火锅菜出炉,初尝美味后的学生顾虑全消,纷纷自煮自捞,忙得不亦乐乎。一边大快朵颐一边连连称赞。随后,师生还一起分享了“辣条”“瓜子”等中国特色零食,并就中国餐桌礼仪、社会现象,拉脱风情习俗,新年愿景等话题进行了探讨。在一片欢声笑语中,本次火锅体验活动也落下帷幕。
时值寒冬,拉脱室外寒风呼啸,教室内却暖意融融。此次烹饪课活动不仅展示了火锅“百味消融小釜中”的魅力,中华美食种类、口感之丰富;也为师生营造了课后交流的空间,拉近了彼此间心与心的距离;更加深了学生们对中国的了解,激发了学生们学好汉语,去中国看一看的决心。
On December 16, local time, Chinese volunteer teacher and students of the Confucius Classroom at Riga No.34 Secondary School gathered together to share Chinese classic cuisine-hot pot.
At the beginning of the activity, students took out their own prepared ingredients and introduced their favorite food in Chinese. And under the teacher’s demonstration, began to cook the hot pot condiment and make the mixed seasoning. Besides, teachers and students shared some Chinese snacks, and discussed topics such as Chinese table manners, social phenomena, customs, and New Year’s Vision. In a happy atmosphere, this Chinese food experience activity came to an end.
This cooking class activity not only demonstrated the charm of the hot-pot, the rich variety of Chinese cuisine and taste; it also created a space for teachers and students to communicate after class, bringing them closer to each other; and deepening the students’ awareness of China, inspired the students’ determination to learn Chinese well and to travel to China.
