Ventspils University College celebrated of the Mid-Autumn Festival

当地时间10月2日，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院下属的文茨皮尔斯大学教学点举行“吃月饼，迎中秋”的活动。

此次的中秋节庆祝活动在高中生初级班展开，他们都是第一次学习汉语。首先，汉语教师志愿者者播放介绍中秋节的沙画视频，接着讲解了中秋节的来源、习俗、传说和不同亚洲国家怎样庆祝中秋节。当讲到嫦娥奔月的传说时，学生们十分感兴趣，纷纷表达了自己对这个传说的看法。最后是听音乐，品月饼活动，伴随《但愿人长久》的音乐，学生们第一次品尝月饼，纷纷赞不绝口。

整个教学过程，学生学习了中秋节的知识，体验了中国文化，同时也学会了表达中秋的祝福。

The Mid-Autumn Festival celebration started in the junior high school beginners. First of all, the Chinese volunteer teacher played a Sand painting video about the introduction of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and then explained the origin, customs and legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival and how different Asian countries celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival. When the teacher talked about the legend of The Goddess Chang’s fly to the moon , the students were very interested in it and expressed their views on it. The last part is listening to the music which mean may we all be blessed with longevity and eating the mooncakes , it was the first time for students to eat the moon cake, they said it was so delicious.

Throughout the teaching ,students learned the knowledge of the Mid-Autumn Festival, experienced the Chinese culture, and also learned to express their blessings.
