Directors of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia attend the International Culture Festival of Ventspils University College
当地时间11月13号上午,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院中方院长尚劝余教授及外方院长贝德高教授抵达文茨皮尔斯大学,与文茨皮尔斯大学校长卡里斯先生一起在中餐馆共进午餐,共餐的有文茨皮尔斯大学翻译学院院长戴杰斯先生、语言项目主管维达女生、国际办公室秘书瑞莎女士和汉语教师志愿者潘玲。双方展开了和谐融洽的交流,对文茨皮尔斯大学汉语学习的发展态势充满信心。
随后中方院长尚劝余教授和外方院长贝德高教授出席文茨皮尔斯大学国际文化节,担任文化节的开场嘉宾。首先,文茨皮尔斯校长发表文化节开幕致辞并对孔子学院院长的到来表示感谢。然后,中方院长尚劝余教授和外方院长贝德高教授一同致辞,接着中方院长尚劝余教授讲解了中国概况,给学生打开了了解中国的大门。外方院长贝德高教授讲解了中国的现况和政治时事,贯通古今,加深了学生对中国的认识。于此同时,学生对中国对汉语更感兴趣了。
文化节在不同的文化交流中落下帷幕,翻译学院院长戴杰斯先生对孔子学院院长的到来表示深深的感谢,并希望与孔子学院展开更多的合作。
Local time on November 13, 2017, Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyu and Latvian Director Professor Peteris Pildegovics, from Confucius Institute at University of Latvia arrived at Ventspils and had a good lunch time with the Rector of Ventspils University College Mr Karlis Kreslins in Chinese restaurant ,together with the Dean of Translation Faculty Mr. Guntars Dreijers,Director of Language Programme Mrs.Vita Balama, Secretary Rasa Zalite and Chinese volunteer teacher PanLing. The two sides had a friendly communication and showed great confidence in the development of Chinese language learning at Ventspils University College.
Afterwards, Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyu and Latvian Director Professor Peteris Pildegovics attend the International Culture Festival of Ventspils University College as the opening guest.First of all ,the Rector of Ventspils University College delivered an opening speech and expressed thanks to the coming of Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyu and Latvian Director Professor Peteris Pildegovics. Then Two Directors delivered an opening speech together. Thirdly ,Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyund gave an introduction to China which opened a door for students to know China .Latvian Director Professor Peteris Pildegovics introduced some current affairs in modern China which made students know more about China.At the same time ,students got more interested in China and Chinese language.
The International Culture Festival ended in different culture exchanges. Dean of Translation Faculty Mr. Guntars Dreijers showed great thanks to the Two Directors and hoped more cooperation with Confucius Institute
