Classical Music, Coming Because of You — LUCI Held Chinese Corner Activity with the Transport and Telecommunication Institute and the Latvian Academy of Culture
12月4日晚，由拉脱维亚大学孔子学院本部五个班携拉脱维亚交通与电信大学、拉脱维亚文化学院共同举办的汉语角活动在拉脱维亚大学学术图书馆孔院410教室举行。本次汉语角活动的主题是：古典乐，“音”你来。来自各个教学点的40多位学生积极参加了这次活动。
本次汉语角活动旨在让学生们了解中国古典音乐和乐器。活动包括乐器文化及分类、志愿者现场演奏、现场教学及互动等环节。
晚上18:30，汉语角活动正式拉开序幕。主持人滕飞对学生们的到来表示了热烈欢迎。随后，志愿者教师曾庆君以“八音”分类，向学生介绍了每一种“音”的代表乐器，并介绍了中国古典十大名曲，使留学生们对中国传统的音乐有了初步的认识和了解。
接着，志愿者教师刘梦珂、朱玥先后就古筝、琵琶等具有代表性的中国传统乐器的历史及乐理知识进行了介绍，分别演奏各乐器的代表曲目《渔舟唱晚》和《春江花月夜》。随着乐曲流泻而出的刹那，外籍学生们在起落悠扬的音符中，感受到中华文化深藏的韵味。在随后的现场教学中，外籍友人在朱玥老师的指导下，带着拨片，练习演奏了简单且独具特色的曲调。
伴随着主持人滕飞的一曲《突然好想你》，现场的气氛已经被点燃，来自拉脱维亚文化学院的学生用吉他为大家带来一首民谣弹唱，场面非常热闹。最后的竞赛环节更是激动人心，学生们6—7人一组回答问题，紧张又兴奋地参与其中。
最后，志愿者教师们为竞赛中优胜的队伍和参与表演的拉国学生颁发了精美的礼物，深受学生们的喜爱。之后大家一起合影留念，本次活动在欢声笑语中结束。
On the evening of December 4th , five Chinese language classes of LUCI, together with the Latvian Academy of Culture and Transport and Telecommunication Institute organized Chinese corner activity . The activity was held in Room 410, at Latvian University Academic Library. The theme of this Chinese corner activity is: classical music, coming because of you . More than 40 students from various teaching sites actively participated in the event.
The Chinese corner activity aims to make students understand Chinese classical music and instruments. Activities include the culture and category of musical instruments, volunteer live performances, on-site teaching and interaction,etc.
At 18:30, the Chinese corner activity officially began. The host Teng Fei expressed his warm welcome to the students. Subsequently, Zeng Qingjun, the volunteer teacher, introduced “The Eight tones” and the representative musical instrument of each tone, and introduced the ten famous Chinese classical songs to the students. The students have a preliminary understanding of Chinese traditional music.
Then volunteer teachers Liu Mengke and Zhu Yue introduced the history and musical theory of traditional Chinese musical instruments such as guzheng and pipa. They played the representatives of various instruments, “fishing boat singing late” and “A Moonlit Night On The Spring River “. As the moment the music flew out , foreign students felt the deep charm of Chinese culture. In the subsequent on-site teaching, under the guidance of the teacher Zhu Yue, foreign friends practiced playing a simple and unique melody with plectrum.
With the host Teng Fei’s song “suddenly miss you so much”, the atmosphere of the scene has been ignited, student from the Latvian Academy of Culture brought a folk song with guitar to us, the scene is very lively.The final competition is more exciting, 6-7 students in a group to answer questions, they are all nervous and excited.
In the end, the volunteer teachers gave exquisite gifts to the winning teams and the students who performed in the activity. The gifts are very popular with students. After the group photo, this event ended with the cheerful chatting and laughing .
