The China Day – Confucius Institute Day lecture was held successfully in Latvia University
当地时间9月28日,中国人民大学欧洲问题研究中心杨慧林教授、陈岳教授、闫瑾副教授、罗天虹副教授、关孔文博士五人在内的代表团到访拉脱维亚大学孔子学院,围绕中国文化、中国外交、中欧人文交流以及“一带一路”倡议的内涵与实践等内容展开系统讲座。参加本次“中国日-孔院日”讲座的人员还有拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授、中方院长尚劝余教授,拉脱维亚大学人文学院亚洲系中文专业教师鲍葛薇副教授、柯世浩教授、卡琳娜老师,汉语教师王琼子、董芳以及汉语教师志愿者、中文专业学生等近五十人。
当天上午,杨教授一行参观了拉脱维亚大学孔子学院办公室,与贝院长、尚院长会面,并合照留念。随后,杨教授等人随贝院长一同前往拉脱维亚大学人文学院开展讲座。
在讲座中,杨慧林教授以“一带一路”倡议的互联互通为主题,以中西方哲学为背景,提出中国传统哲学“一生万物”等思想,揭示中西方文化之间的异同。
陈岳教授以“中国在全球治理及国际制度中的身份转变”为题,分析了中国在全球角色的转变。他表示:在国际关系里有三种身份“追随者”、“支持者”、“领导者”。
闫瑾副教授以“中欧高级别人文交流:机遇与挑战”为题,探讨了在 “教育”、“科技” 、“文化”、 “青年”、“妇女”、“媒体”六大领域国际之间的交流情况。
罗天虹副教授以“一带一路”为背景,介绍了“一带一路”的发展现状,并指出中欧两地交往会从多维度进一步加深。
最后,杨教授一行在汉语教师的带领下前往孔子饭店用餐,“中国日—孔院日”讲座圆满落下帷幕。
Local time on September 28th, Professor Yang Huilin, Professor Chen Yue, Associate Professor Yan Yan, Associate Professor Luo Tianhong and Dr. Guan Kongwen from the Center of European Studies at Renmin University of China visited the Confucius Institute in the Latvia University, focusing on Chinese culture, China’s diplomacy, and the initiative of “one Belt and one Road ”. Prof Peteris Pildgovics, Latvian-side Director of LUCI, Prof. Shang Quanyu, Chinese-side Director of LUCI, Laura Zatina, LUCI secretary, Prof. Bao Gewei, Research Director of Asian Cultural Center at University of Latvia, Professor Ke Shihao, Teacher Karina , Chinese Teacher Ms. Dong Fang, Ms.Wang Qiongzi, Volunteer Chinese Teachers and other nearly 50 people.
On the morning of the same day, Prof. Yang and his entourage visited the Confucius Institute Office of the University of Latvia and met with Prof Peteris Pildgovics and Prof. Shang Quanyu and took a group photo. Later, Professor Yang and others went to the University of Latvian College of Humanities to give lectures with Prof Peteris Pildgovics.
During the lecture, Professor Yang Huilin took the theme of “OBOR with Mutual Impact and Offer”, to introduce the relationship between the traditional Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy, revealing the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western cultures.
Professor Chen Yue analyzed the transformation of China’s role in the world with the title ” The Changing Identity of China in Global Governance and International Institutions ” He said, there are three kinds of identity “followers”, “supporters” and “leaders” in international relations. Associate Professor Yan Yan discussed the six major areas of “education”, “science and technology”, “culture”, “youth”, “women” and “media” with the title “China-EU People to People Exchange: Opportunities and Challenges”. Associate Professor Luo Tianhong introduced the development status of the “ One Belt, One Road” in the context of “OBOR Initiative and its Implications” and pointed out that the exchanges between China and Europe will further deepen from multiple dimensions. Finally, Professor Yang and his entourage went to the Confucius restaurant under the leadership of Chinese teachers. The “China Day – Confucius Institute Day” lecture came to a successful conclusion.
