Chinese food week, enjoy Chinese flavor– Celebrate the end of the first semester in Ventspils University’s Chinese classes

当地时间，12月13号到12月19号，文茨皮尔斯大学2018-2019学年第一学期的汉语课结束，这四个月以来，每个班的学生都很认真地参与了汉语课堂的学习活动，最终在期末考试周，每个学生都交上来一份令人满意的答卷。

随后，应广大学生的强烈要求，研究生一年级汉语班、社会兴趣班、高中生班在期末考试结束后都以中国美食体验座谈会的形式结束了本学期的课程。大家一起购买食材，一起兴奋却又“笨拙”地学习做中国菜、中国火锅，最后吃得不亦乐乎，为中华美食所折服。饭桌上，我们为了这个充满中国味的圣诞节和新年举杯，更为了这学期大家的出色表现举杯。大家纷纷表示，下学期会再接再厉，争取早日说一口流利的汉语。

At the local time, from December 13th to December 19th, the Chinese language class of the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year in Ventspils University is over. In the past four months, the students in each class have been very seriously involved in the Chinese language class and activities. And in the final exam, every student handed in a satisfactory paper.

Subsequently, in response to the strong demands of the students, the postgraduate students’ Chinese classes, social interest classes, and high school students completed the semester course in the form of a Chinese food experience forum after the final exam. The students and Chinese teacher went to buy ingredients together, and they were excited and “clumsy” to learn how to cook Chinese dishes and Chinese hot pot. Finally, they enjoyed themselves and they were impressed by Chinese cuisine. At the dinner table, all the students toasted this Chinese-taste Christmas and New Year, and also toasted everyone’s good performance in this semester. Everyone said that they will continue to work hard in the next semester and strive to speak fluent Chinese as soon as possible.
