The opening ceremony of the “7th Latvia Open Wushu Championships ” was successfully held in the Latvian Wushu Association
当地时间2月2号,中午12点整,“第七届拉脱维亚武术锦标赛公开赛”开幕式在拉脱维亚武术协会隆重举行。
本次活动由拉脱维亚武术协会主办,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院等多个单位协办。孔院中方院长尚劝余教授、中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆商务处参赞沈晓凯、中国文化中心主任张丽丽女士、中国文化中心顾问杨松、孔院汉语教师志愿者,拉脱维亚、俄罗斯、立陶宛、挪威四国裁判代表,以及社会各界人士参加了本次活动。
本次拉脱维亚武术锦标赛公开赛参赛选手300余名。其中,最年长的参赛选手为82岁,年龄最小的选手仅6岁。开幕式上,各国代表队均为大家带来了太极拳、柔力球、舞狮等一系列精彩绝伦的武术表演,赢得场上观众掌声连连。
开幕式后,孔子学院尚劝余院长、中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆沈晓凯参赞、中国文化中心张丽丽主任和杨松顾问分别为参赛选手颁奖。并对开幕式的圆满举行表达了由衷的祝贺,对参赛选手的专业表演给予了高度称赞,希望有更多的武术爱好者加入习武行列。
本次武术大赛为广大武术爱好者提供了交流、切磋、展示的良好平台,使世界人民对中国武术精神及中国传统文化有了更深的认识。
Local time on February 2, 12 o’clock, Opening Ceremony of “the 7th Latvia Open Wushu Championships” was hold in Latvian Wushu Association.
The event was held by the Latvian Wushu Association and co-organized by several organizations including the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia. Prof.Shang Quanyu, Chinese-side Director of LUCI, Shen Xiaokai, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Zhang Lili, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center, Yang Song, Consultant of the Chinese Cultural Center, Volunteer Chinese Teachers, representatives from various countries in Latvia, Russia, Norway, Lithuania and people from all walks of life attended the event.
There are more than 300 players in the Open Wushu Championships. Among them, the oldest player is 82 years old, and the youngest player is only 6 years old. At the opening ceremony, Wushu teams from Latvia, Russia, Lithuania and Norway presented fabulous Wushu performances.
After the opening ceremony, Prof.Shang Quanyu, Chinese-side Director of LUCI, Shen Xiaokai, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Zhang Lili, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center, Yang Song, Consultant of the Chinese Cultural Center, awarded for the contestants. And then they expressed their sincere congratulations on the successful opening ceremony and highly praised the professional performances of the contestants. They hoped that more Wushu enthusiasts would like to study Wushu.
This event provided a platform for Chinese Wushu to go abroad, so that the people of the world have a deeper understanding of Chinese Wushu.
