The 2018-2019 work summary meeting of Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia was successfully held
当地时间6月1日，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院于拉脱维亚大学主楼小礼堂召开了一年一度的工作总结大会，拉大孔院外方院长贝德高及中方院长尚劝余、公派教师王琼子、拉大孔院本部本土汉语教师马笑笑以及拉脱七期的18位汉语教师志愿者参加了会议，公派教师王琼子老师主持了本次会议。拉脱七期大家庭共同相聚，总结过去，畅想未来。
会议于下午13：00准时召开，会议的开始由王琼子老师致发言词，她为大家介绍了本次会议的流程，接着，所有志愿者教师共同为二位院长及王老师赠送了花束和礼物，对过去的一年他们的关心和照顾表示感谢。接下来，从王老师开始，每一位汉语教师依次就教学工作总结、教学经验分享、个人成长收获对自己过去的一年工作做出总结和分享。会议在温暖、和谐的氛围下进行，许多即将离任的志愿者表示了自己对拉大孔院大家庭的留恋与不舍，留任的志愿者则表示自己会继续努力，起好承上启下的作用，志愿者教师们的总结与分享情真意切，感动到了在座的所有人。
会议结束后，二位院长及所有汉语教师一同前往拉脱维亚的母亲河——道家瓦河的河畔乘坐观光游船，绕城一周，欣赏里加的城市风光，大家一边欣赏美景，一边畅聊过去与未来。游船活动结束后，一行人一同前往里加“老香港”中餐馆就餐。就餐之后，贝教授和尚院长分别对过去一年的工作做出总结，也表达了对所有汉语教师的辛勤工作和努力耕耘的肯定与鼓励。在一片欢声笑语中，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院2018-2019年度总结大会圆满结束，希望拉脱维亚大学孔子学院越来越好，也希望每一位志愿者教师都能坚持自己的梦想、前程似锦！
Local time June 1st , the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia held an annual work summary meeting in the small auditorium of the University of Latvia. Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs, The Latvian director of the Confucius Institute, and the Chinese director Prof. Shang Quanyu, Chinese teacher Wang Qiongzi, local Chinese teacher Ma Xiaoxiao, and 18 Chinese volunteer teacher attended the meeting. Wang Qiongzi presided over the meeting. Everyone meet together to sum up the past and think about the future.
The meeting was held at 13:00 pm, began with a speech by Mr. Wang Qiongzi. She introduced the process of the meeting. Then, all the volunteer teachers gave flowers and gifts to the two directors and Mr.Wang. Thanks for their concern and care in the past year. Next, starting with Teacher Wang, each Chinese teacher summed up and shared his work over the past year on the summary of teaching work, sharing of teaching experience, and personal growth. The meeting was held in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. The volunteers who will leave Latvia expressed their nostalgia and reluctance to the big Confucius Institute family. The volunteers who will stay one more year said that they would continue to work hard and play a good role. The summaries and sharing of the volunteer teachers were really affectionate and moved to everyone present.
After the meeting, the two directors and all the Chinese teachers went to Latvia’s mother river to take a sightseeing cruise around the city and enjoy the city scenery of Riga. Everyone enjoyed the scenery and chatted about the past and the future. After the cruise ship event, the group went to Riga’s “Old Hong Kong” Chinese restaurant to have dinner together. After the meal, Prof. Pēteris Pildegovičs and Prof. Shang Quanyu summed up the work of the past year and expressed the affirmation and encouragement of the hard work of all Chinese teachers.
