The First Working Conference of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia in 2022 was Successfully Held—The Meeting after Three Years

From 14:00 to 15:30 on August 29, 2022, Latvia time, the first working meeting of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia was successfully held in the new Confucius Institute Office. The participants included Confucius Institute Director Shang Quanyu and Confucius Institute Secretary Anastasija Galkina, local Chinese teacher Madara Smalka, sponsored Chinese teacher Bai Bingyu, and volunteer Chinese teachers Tang Jing, Li Xin and Liu Xian.

The meeting lasted for an hour and a half and mainly focused on the teaching plans and activities for the new semester .  First of all, the meeting discussed the teaching plan of the Confucius Institute Headquarters at the University of Latvia in the new term and preliminarily determined the start time of this  year and the time when the heads of Confucius classrooms will meet with Chinese teachers.  And it is tentatively scheduled to go to the classroom of the Confucius Institute Headquarters on September 2 to sort out the Chinese textbooks and teaching aids needed for this term. Secondly, at the meeting, it was agreed to jointly hold the Confucius Institute Day and The Mid-Autumn Festival event with China Studies Association in Latvia on September 27. Then, the host of the event and the required items were determined. Finally, Shang Quanyu, Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, issued the badges of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia to the sponsored teachers and volunteer teachers.

It is believed that the successful convening of this working conference will surely lay a solid foundation for the smooth development of the teaching tasks of the Confucius Institute at Latvia in the new semester , and make the flower of “Han Yu” bloom more brilliantly on the land of Latvia.

拉大孔院2022年第一次工作会议成功召开——时隔三年的相聚

拉脱维亚时间2022年8月29日14：00-15：30，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院第一次工作会议在新的孔院办公室成功召开，与会人员有孔子学院院长尚劝余，孔院秘书高安娜，本土汉语教师马笑笑，公派教师白冰玉，汉语志愿者教师唐静、李欣、刘贤。

会议持续一个半小时，主要围绕新学年的教学计划和活动展开讨论。首先，会上讨论了新学年拉脱维亚大学孔子学院本部的教学计划，初步确定了本学年的开学时间，以及各个孔子课堂负责人同汉语教师见面的时间。并且暂定于9月2日去到孔院本部教室整理出本学年所需的汉语课本和教学用具；其次，在会上商定于9月27日同拉脱维亚留华同学会联合举办孔院日和中秋节活动，并确定了活动主持人和所需物品；最后，由拉脱维亚大学孔子学院院长尚劝余向此次赴任的公派教师和志愿者教师颁发拉脱维亚大学孔子学院徽章。

相信此次工作会议的成功召开，必将为新学年拉大孔院教学任务的顺利开展打下坚实的基础，让“瀚宇”之花更为灿烂地盛开在拉脱维亚这片土地上。
